There isn’t a voice in music quite like Adam Lambert. The 34-year-old powerhouse had us talking from the moment he belted out those Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics when he first auditioned for American Idol way back when.
Three albums, successful tours and a handful of award nominations and wins later, we still go crazy over his show-stopping voice and lovable personality. Whether it’s touring his own material, singing his heart out as the frontman for Queen, or making stellar cameos on shows like Glee and Pretty Little Liars, Adam is one of music’s biggest assets.
When he’s not crushing his own songs he’s wowing us with the spin he puts on some of our favourite songs. If you were wondering if there’s anything he can’t sing, we’re here to tell you that the answer is no.
There are the Adam Lambert covers that we just had to show you because they’re going to blow your mind.

Adam internalises the songs he covers as if they were his own compositions. That to me is a well-honed skill through his years of singing and theatre; he steps into the minds behind those songs. It's basically talent, be able to feel the depth of what the songs are about, the lyric/music; also using fashion to bring out those times the artists lived in...in other words immersing himself in their persona/background in order to bring out the raw emotions of the song. One thing I observe when he covers the songs is he doesn't copy! He has a wider/higher/more powerful range to tackle these well-established classics. Indirectly he owns them; sings them better than the originals.
Adam's Queen covers are still the most memorable; by the way, you may say he sang 'The Show Must Go On' on stage, which Freddie was unable to do due to his illness but made a recording. Another Queen song that we may bestow on Adam is 'Who Wants To Live Forever' which touched Brian sooo much that he bowed his head to hide his emotion/tears. Ah, Mad World got him a standing ovation.
His own songs fitted him best though...because that's him.
Can't seem to open the site to listen to the songs. :(

What a wonderful "walk" through old and new memories. I often visit these videos, and am happy they are being brought back to display Adam's amazing talent to people who haven't seen him... as well as reminding those who have.....and, of course, reinforcing what Glamberts already know.....HE IS THE BEST and MOST VERSATILE LIVING VOICE and SHOWMAN today!
