January 20, 2009 was the day that many people (now known as Glamberts) discovered someone who they can now call their idol, Adam Lambert. That day was the day Adam’s American Idol audition of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” aired on television.
Now eight years later, fans all over the world are celebrating what they’d like to call an “Adam-versary!” Glamberts have already started to celebrate on Adam’s official website, AdamOfficial.com, by sharing their memories and favorite videos in honor of #8YearsOfAdamLambert.
CelebMix took the time to speak to some Adam Lambert fans
from around the world to find out how they discovered Adam, and what
their favorite memory of him over the years is. Below is what they had
to say. (Any photo shared belongs to the name above it.)
Elliott Mitchel | 29 | Indiana – “I discovered Adam on American Idol. I loved how he took “Bohemian Rhapsody” and made it his own while still clearly showing respect to the original. Every week I tuned in to see what he was going to do. I was hooked on him since the beginning.”

OOOO! Hot Pic!!!
MWAH! ADAM
Favorite moments are too many to count!
I remember this well, but checked it out to be sure. This photo was taken at Clive Davis's
Pre-Grammy Party (2/19/2016). Adam was performing "Let's Dance" as a tribute to David Bowie.
He looks great there ....SO handsome, SO in control.
Wonderful article, BTW.
To me, what is so touching is how he has inspired so many people! Reading those comments in the article, along with so many others I've seen, reminds me what a truly special man he is. Being true to himself and telling everyone to be proud and not afraid to be different is one his most most special qualities. It goes without saying that his talent is amazing, but being such an inspiration to so many simply makes me so proud.
