Aha, Tommy Joe is back! For some unknown reason, I thought of Tommy Joe last night lol! and walah he's here this morning...thoughts-through-space strikes again!

So Tommy Joe, are you getting back with Adam next tour? You accompany him so meticulously on your guitar.

Hi again Lam-My, Happy New Year!
Don't know yet until Boss signals to me to come aboard. I thoroughly enjoyed my previous tours with Adam. You're right, I read his singing and follow closely...his crescendos/high,loud; or emotional/sad/slow etc. Not so easy to follow Adam because he switches 'gear' very fast but I have learnt to anticipate it.

Yea, I like your guitar-playing and you take it so seriously and calmly; maybe that's what attracted Adam to pick you as his bass guitarist and later lead guitarist. I like the way you play piano as well.

By the way, the Singapore girls looove you! Remember they shouted your name at the GlamNation concert 2010, especially when Adam...well you know what...lwl!

Adam never lets go of old friends, that's his best trait quality, I feel.

Oh, I forgot to say, Adam's NYE pink/floral suit fits him really well, elegant, original. The bee pin on his lapel attracted my attention; because my NYE 2016-17 poem was about Crickets as there was no Adam NYE gig this year for me to write on.
And walah...I saw this insect pin.

May be Cicadas because they whistle long continuous sounds rather than the crickets' chirpy sounds; even as I type this, I hear the Cicadas' unmistakable continuous whistle; not so loud now, the trees/bushes have been pruned. If I recall correctly, I noticed 3 black dots on the lacy wings of King Cicada perched on the wall outside my widow.

Spelling is "voila"...not "walah".

King cicada outsizes others
Big and spontaneous
Leaves the pack for an extravaganza
Perches outside my window
In hot pursuit of sexual endeavour
As I examine it closer
Three black dots adorn its lacy wings
Suddenly, sends out a long shrill whistle
So small but so loud!
Waits for a while
Stares at me with big bulgy eyes
Flies back to the trees to join the cacophony
As they welcome his majesty
An eye-opener cicada epiphany

I am quite aware of 'voila' but I prefer my localised version 'walah'! Got it?
Well, I recall, the brief holiday conversation period is over! Do take note!
