OT - saw "Boys in the Band" and there is nothing like watching seasoned stage actors at their craft. The cast is incredibly attractive and the play is wonderful! I attended a matinee and the actors have a second performance this evening - but each came out of the stage door and graciously signed playbills and took pics.

Adam could easily have stepped into the same roles of Matt Boomer or Andrew Rannells
without a problem. Ryan Murphy is one of the producers and just signed a huge $400 million dollar contract with Netflix for more projects. Adam needs to stay on his radar!

Anon8, I'm with you! I want Adam to make some valuable connections and hopefully get a role in a stage show. BITB would have bee perfect for him. I hope he finds a way to get on Ryan Murphy's radar.

DeeRGee - don't forget that Ryan and Adam know each other from Glee, as Ryan was the creator/producer of Glee. He is doing much edgier projects now ( as in American Horror, American Crime) and is debuting "Pose" next month which I am sure Adam will check out.

Ryan also produced "Versace" starring Glee alumni Darren Criss, and rumor has it that Criss will be nominated for either an Emmy/SAG/Golden Globe award.

OT again - when Jim Parsons was taking his curtain call this afternoon with the other actors, he tripped on a step and fell. He took one bow and quickly limped off the stage. Just announced that he broke his foot and this evening's performance is cancelled!

Well Adam is back from NY in time to celebrate Mothers Day with his mom. He is not always in town for this, I bet this makes his mom really happy, a gift in itself, to see him, on this special day.

Anon8, thanks for the info about Jim Parsons. So sad about his accident! Hope he heals up fast and comes back. I really like him.

And thanks for the info on Ryan Murphy. I had forgotten about Glee. It sounds like he has been responsible for a lot of successful projects. All the more reason to hope that Adam is on his radar and that he might give him a chance to be in a good role at some point. Would sure love to see Adam be in the running for an Emmy or a GG award someday! Just takes being in the right place at the right time and getting a good offer.
