Nanbert...Lucky you! You have to be our eyes and ears for the rest of us who aren't going (like me), boohoo. Lol

Sunflower... this just happened to be a "happy accident" that I'm going. My sister and I had planned to take a trip to Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Lake Powell area...flying in and out of Vegas.....and the timing worked out perfectly to fit in the QAL concert before we fly home.

My sister is not a Glambert, but likes Adam and QAL......and loves ME enough to go see them with me now for the fourth time! She's 12 years younger...which makes her 73....and this trip might be our last "walk-around" together. Being 85 makes travelling/touristing more work than it used to be for me. Bummer!

I can't complain. I've lived in several places around the world, had some amazing adventures and experiences and visited many more places overseas than most people. But living out of the States means that there's a lot of the U.S. I had never had the chance to visit....the beauties of our precious country....and my sister and I have been working on my "bucket list" of the most gorgeous places to see before I die. I'm not running out of "list" yet....but seem to be running out of "me". LOL

I WILL give a full review of "The Crown Jewels" when I return... after a good night's sleep!

Nanbert...How fortunate to have such a rich life full of adventures and living in different parts of the world! So wonderful! I bet you can write a book on your life with so much material you possess! I want to be like you where I travel all over the world but sadly I haven't seen much of the US. Guess I should start at home first. Lol. Sometimes I wish I had a sister where I can do things and go places with her, but I'm blessed with 3 amazing brothers and wouldn't have it any other way! Well I look forward to your review on the QAL concert!

Sunflower....DO make it a point to see as much of the U.S. as you can...and I'm talking especially about our gorgeous national parks for their unrivaled beauty and majesty.

I must confess that I've had enough of cities now for the most part...except for visiting the many fine museums around the country. The "Great Outdoors" soothes my soul.

Yes....start at home first! You'll not regret it. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. There's a lifetime of discovery and delight to be found in your own country.
