So happy Adam was picked to sing this song...epic!...he does justice to Aretha. Wonder what she thought/said about Adam's rendition?

This bit of trivia is also rather pertinant here because it relates to Adam and Aretha....thought I'd pass it on:

Sometime after Adam's stint on American Idol, in an interview, the singer, Meatloaf, said he was an Adam Lambert groupie..."I don't think anyone actually comprehends how good this guy is." He went on to state that there were "only three singers who have the ability to do, what I call, OVERDRIVE.... Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Adam Lambert."

Now Whitney and Aretha are both gone. Long live Adam Lambert...King of Overdrive! LOL
