Since we've been in the midst of a slow time right now, I've done a little Adam-site surfing to places I don't usually go. Saw some fans sharing where they went for their first-ever concert, what their first album purchase was, and who was their first celeb crush. Kind of fun. I know my first concert was The Young Rascals (now The Rascals, still touring). Great hit songs. Good band. First album was Meet the Beatles. Can't quite remember my first celeb crush but I don't think it was a singer, Probably some very cute young actor.

Good idea Dee R Gee...I've been doing some Youtube visiting of some of Adam's pre-idol work. I'm especially enamoured of his Upright Cabaret interpretations, like the following heartbreaking rendition of "I Can't Make You Love Me"....SO emotional... but with mind-blowing control!

Enjoy! Sob!..bring a Kleenex...Sniff!

Watch/Listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYKaIWWeulI

Adam becomes very emotional during the song, and I've often wondered if it was just the lyrics, or if it reflected an actual emotional upset in his life at that time.

Dee R Gee.....Another "gem" from Adam's Upright Cabaret days..."Dust In The Wind"..... Absolutely lovely! But its most notable attraction (for me) is when Adam almost makes a false start.....and then breaks out into THE MOST ADORABLE GRIN I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!....and I melt!

I visit it often just for that dear grin! LOL Here it is:

I love Dust in the Wind, too. Haven't listened it quite a while. Thanks for the reminder! It is exquisite.
