I just looked up the Pendry San Diego, and its website clearly stated that rooms are $347 - $1,347.
Even if I were extremely wealthy, I wouldn't pay $$$$ for accommodation. I'd rather give the money to a needy cause.

To be honest, I suspect that Adam’s Hotel was paid by NPR as he was in San Diego for their event. That’s how these things often work.
And yes, really none of our business where he stayed, the cost, or who paid for it, to be honest. Looks like a nice place.

Yes glitzlady and Dee R Gee...think you're both right. That probably explains him "pushing" the hotel....first time I've seen him do that.
"Pushing" is not the best word....it's more like promoting.... a quid pro quo....like when he mentions the name of the company whose clothing he's wearing.
Oh my, it seems that the more rich and famous you get, the less you have to pay for things!
