Didn't expect to see anything at all but I'm grateful to see a glimpse of yesterday's event! Till next week. Sigh
A good friend of mine who lives in SoCal, went to the taping yesterday (a last minute decision apparently, but was still able to get a ticket) and said she really enjoyed being there (of course!!!! and yeah, I'm rather envious!) and she said:
"..he was HILARIOUS; maybe the funniest I have ever seen him..." "They were super strict about no taping or photos.."
And
"The interviewer asked him a lot about his Idol history, coming out and his association with Queen. And then at the end, he stood up and said to all his fans in the crowd that he promises his new solo stuff is coming out SOOOONNNN (He overuses that word!) and he again mentioned how the fans get a bit impatient but there is so much going on as far as the business side of things to get a record out takes a lot of steps. He looked great,........,he said he was doing the "lumberjack" style today. He had on really cool tan suede boots with what looked like jewels on the toe caps - very cool."
