No one living can even come close.... VOICE! PERFORMANCE! APPEARANCE!...he's one-of-a-kind! How lucky that Queen found him! How lucky we are to take this trip with him!

Agree! I LOVE that fringe outfit so much! One of my all-time favorites. I hope he has some great costumes for the next tour. He's changed it up really well each time so far. And I hope his next solo tour has an even more creative look. He's a real chameleon.

Dee R Gee....yes.....and remember....even when he was on American Idol, everyone was dying of curiousity to see what he'd be wearing next, just like us now. He HAS come up with some really great costumes for his tours...both QAL's and his own.

Adam was FABULOUS! He moved! He wailed! He gave it the best little nuances and magical bits! If I can have only ONE tiny complaint, it's that he wasn't introduced by name right before he sang. The other singers each had a intro mentioning the by name. But after the commercial break, there was Adam and he just started singing. He was great, but still. I know I'm being petty. Guilty as charged.

Dee R Gee...I don't think it's petty. But honestly, I was so up tight waiting for Adam to perform that I have to admit that I didn't even notice he wasn't introduced. If you had asked me, I would have said he was. Of course, it would be especially important to those who didn't know/recognize him. Also, most songs had a little introduction before.

And the others coming up next. They put a big old Adam Lambert across the screen. So all should know just who that fabulous man rocking the hell out of that song was of they didn't before.
They had his name at the beginning of the song mainly because they went from Elvis singing it to Adam rocking out.

Everyone here is correct. There was a lead-up to Adam's song that showed Adam. You're all right about that. But greedy as I am, I wouldn't have loved something like, "And now, here to sing Elvis's classic "Blue Suede Shoes" is ADAM LAMBERT!"

I must have watched "Blue Suede Shoes" 20 times at least last night! Had to catch every nuance and note. Absolutely smashing performance!

Just thinking....everyone's performances were great. There was so much talent in that tribute! Elvis was properly honored.

But, if I remember correctly, all the performers were dressed in dark and/or neutral clothing. And then this vision in technicolor blue appears in their midst and brings technicolor brilliance into the music... Adam...with humor and light. The audience were marveling with delight and "bopping" along with him throughout his irrepressible performance....and could not help themselves from standing up, cheering and applauding when it was over!

I know everyone who saw that has to realize that they had just seen something really special..... GENIUS! Adam had just made another song his own!

Haha! No, I don't think so. That dog has ears that don't look like Pharaoh's. Pharaoh's ears always stand straight up. At least that's where I always see them. Maybe he was having a "bad ear" day.

Humm...if that's true, I was right about Brian's answer about turning down an offer to perform at the Oscars being ambiguous. He said they "didn't turn down the invitation"....which could be interpreted as: 1.They weren't invited, or 2. They WERE invited, and "didn't turn it down". Oh my!

Very clever answer by Brian, if they ARE going to perform...WOW...fingers crossed! If so, I guess it will have to be BoRhap, won't it?

Oh my God I hope so Dee R Gee will give a huge boost to the Oscar's. I watched that performance a ton of times and will watch more especially later in the week. Wednesday have go in hospital for a procedure I have to prepare for it.
That performance was beyond fabulous.
All the comments on the video so far are raving some saying Adam should have done the entire show.
Adam attention to dress and details really paid off. People saying how he captured the real Elvis doen to tbe lip curl. They really loved the performance

It was a good show with good performances but Adam's was thrilling and on a level of it's own. He was definitely camp Elvis last night while still being Adam. So darn good. That was down to the lip curl. I am so proud of him I could scream.
Adam time is coming. So hope that true about the oscars.

I assume they'll sing BoRhap, which makes sense considering the name of the movie. Adam sings it flawlessly every single time. I hope they do a full stage set-up with the traditionionl video part of the song with Brian, Roger, John and Freddie.

So excited that millions of viewers will see and hear ADAM just blowing the roof off the place!

AND THIS MEANS THAT THEY'LL PROBABLY BE ON THE RED CARPET, TOO, RIGHT? It's been a while since Adam's been on the red carpet. Hope he wears a killer outfit! This is going to be an exciting week of anticipation!

Oh my God so happy this makes me so happy. Does it say they are opening the show. Oh Adam you have worked so hard and finally it's really paying off. N ot saying you have not done great so far because you have. I just think all of us who love you want the recognition for you that you deserve.
The Oscar's have not been the juggernaut it use to be. I used to love watching the crazy outfits and beautiful dresses ect. As well but it just had lost it's punch not that some did not do a good job and dress nicely but it didn't have the glamour or even a little crazy of old. I hardly have watched it lately but cant waot now.
As for the trolls ask yourself when are any of those people going to sing at the Oscar's are any where else for that matter. The only thing they are good for is putting people down to make themselves are who their a fan of seem more important. Adam has always praised people, celebs when they do a great job now finally some good karma coming back to him and Queen. Every person involved in QAL band they are amaizing musicians with years of experiance. I hope they blow the roof off the place with amaizing. I've been depressed but this is the best medicine I could possibly get.

Bravo to Adam for another killer performance! His appearance lasted like 2 minutes, not barely enough for this Rock God! I wish Adam would have his own television special even if it's on PBS I'll take it, I won't judge. Lol. God even his nails were blue! Lol. I was in YouTube land earlier today and I accidentally ran into a few Elvis trolls, I swear I was NOT looking for them. One man said Darius Rucker was the best one! Another said no Rock and Roll artists wasn't on it, and a man complained that it was a shame that Michael Buble wasn't on the tribute, because Michael is the only artist close to Elvis ( referring that he recorded many Elvis songs) and he called "everyone Bozos"!!! Ha! I put on my Glambert shield and defended our man Adam to all three gentlemen. I told the first one, Hell no, Adam killed it and got a standing ovation. The second man was nice to me and said I like Adam but was hoping to see some of the older iconic Rock and Rollers, so I forgive him. The third one I was trying to convince me that Michael Buble is the only artist deserving to be on that special! I told him about Adams performance and how Adam could sing any Elvis song and do justice to it. He said, I find that debatable and posted all these Buble videos of Elvis covers. I told him I like Michael but I'm sticking with Adam, because he's current and Buble is "old school", records old songs! So there you go, naysayers are everywhere.

Lastly QAL appearing on the Academy Awards sure makes up for them not being asked to perform on Super Bowl! For days the Academy are promoting Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's first time performing on the awards. Back to QAL, all the Glamberts, Queenberts, new Queenies and Glamberts should watch this to bring up the ratings because last year's ratings went down a bit! Ok I'm done talking. Lol

BTW... Dee R Gee.... after your response to me about the "horses ears" I realized we were talking about two difference things. I was referring to a link in someone's comment above that showed horseback riding on the beach. You were referring to a video of Pharoah...haha. Sorry!

But now, after looking at Pharoah's ears in that video you're talking about... the way he was holding them and the way he was shaking his head... I would bet anything that he has an earmite problem....classic symptoms...which he should see a vet about for treatment. Although, I once noticed him acting the same way a long time ago, so maybe Adam (and/or his Dad) is already familiar with the problem and knows how to care for it.
