"Adam and the other guy." Brian May's comment pretty much says it all. The other guy. Where is his career now? Adam should have won, and the "other guy" know it as we all do.

To be fair, Brian did say too that Kris was a good singer too but Adam had that chemistry with Dr. Bri and Roger from the first moment they heard him sing..

And also remember that Kris said "Adam deserves this..." when Kris was announced as the winner. He looked as upset and shocked as the rest of us to be honest. Because he knew it too, that Adam was the star of the show that year.

Well put, glitzylady....but "shocked" was not strong enough...."devastated" comes closer! And yes, Kris felt Adam should have won, too. In a way, I feel sorry for Kris, because he has been often unfairly denigrated for having "won", and that "win" may have even held back his career.

I think we all know now WHY/HOW he won , unfairly... although I don't believe any of it was Kris's doing.

For what it's worth, I often browse through Youtube for Adam videos...and also often read the comments. I can't tell you how many times people remark about their disappointment and anger when Adam didn't win Idol...and go on to say..."and I stopped watching American Idol after that!"

In a sense, Adam's "upset"may have done more damage to American Idol than it did to Adam.

I was still sleeping when this was on GMA, lol. I will get up earlier for Monday morning to see Roger. I agree Nanbert many people did say they stopped watching American Idol after Adams loss. I still watched it tho only for entertainment purposes, because I already have my idol. Speaking of which I heard yesterday that Idol might be cancelled, due to low ratings, I wish The Voice would be cancelled, ugh! Anyways if it's true I grateful Adam has one more appearance as a guest mentor and performing, a Queen song?, or his new song? We shall see!

Now I can continue biting my almost gone fingernails waiting for the "Big Show"!!!

Don't think it really matters who won, Kris has done very well out of winning, yes Adam definitely should have won , but he's the winner in the long run, over here in the UK, it's often the runner(s) up that go on to have a fabulous career.just hope I can get to see it over here in the UK !!

So that's what this video is about ... well, I won't bother to find this video .. that night is etched in my memory ... I don't need to see that part again!! After 4 hrs. of tireless voting ... mostly busy signals .. I finally got through in the last hour!! I didn't mind because I assumed that ADAM's line was so busy from all the votes he was getting so you can imagine my consternation when Ryan read Kris Allen's name!! ADAM was so COOL under those circumstances .. he never showed how he must have really felt ... total CLASS all the way!! And he still is to this day ... always available when Am. Idol asks him to appear ... not many others would have .. IMO .. but that's our real Winner .. he just kept right on climbing that ladder to success & never looked back!! NOW he is finally getting the recognition that he so deserves & should have received 10 years ago!!
