UPDATE (9/2/19): Adam has posted a new IG/Tweet with another lyric reveal, which we've posted below the ~𝄞𝄞𝄞𝄞𝄞~ separator.

Sounds like kind of a Kelly Clarkson "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" kind of sentiment.
That's right Adam you keep your SUPERPOWER!
But those lyrics will not be acceptable to TPTB on radio ... unless ADAM changes a "word" here & there!! Doesn't bother me but there are still a lot of "blue-noses" out there!! OR .. unless there are two versions of the album ... like Ghost Town or Another Lonely Night??

It's not hard to adjust lyrics to make other versions. Adam's not the only singer to put those words in a song. I just hope the song SOUNDS really great!
I wonder if this is sort of an LGBTQ anthem? Adam has really been a groundbreaker for them. I SO admire his honesty and courage!
But, hopefully, "Superpower" is broader...to apply to ALL minorities and oppressed people.
Well, we'll see. I know I shouldn't jump to any conclusions, but can't help but speculate.
However, WHATEVER Adam wants to say is FINE with me!

Maybe there will be two versions .. "radio friendly" & explicit .. like he has done on the other albums ... like I said before .. it doesn't matter to me ... I'll buy it & listen to it anyway!! Anybody remember MASTER PLAN .. that was kind of an in-your-face type of song & I loved it!! Maybe this one will be the same ... oh please .. Sept. 4th .. hurry up & get here so Sept. 27th won't be far behind ... getting kinda antsy!! Can't wait for Side A to drop!!

Cant wait either. I remember when Adam was abroad earlier this year for a month and unveiled his songs to some press or whoever this was one of the songs they really liked. Think he showed 6 or 7 to them.
Adam has been through the ringer in the music business trying to create music he wanted and please the powers to be. He is an unique artist not a cookie cutter pop star turning out one manufactured autotuned song after the other. Yes those will probably go to the top ten in five minutes. Because know one cares anymore about a song that really means something. Seems more and more now 2 pop stars that are popular pull together for a song any song because that will sale it no matter what it sounds like. Adam has said some of the songs stand for something. Adam did however say he still had to play the game I believe to a certain extent. Adam's music generally means something so of course we will hear the same old same old complaints. Artists do make 2 different versions of the same song all the time.
I'm sure he will sing it on tv so there will be some lyric substitution. You see all the time the clean version or radio version and the original. Knowing Adam and he stands for something and tries to put some meaning in his music and imagination I will be inspired. I actually do like the lyrics however setting great music to it will certainly make the words come alive. He did say there would be all authentic instruments in the new songs. That will make a huge difference in the quality of the song and what it sounds like. Believe this is a more up tempo song. There was so many on instagram so excited for it and they to heard the lyrics.
TWO MORE DAYS & then BAM!! SUPERPOWER drops & we'll all know what it's all about!! Then a couple more weeks & again BAM!! Here's VELVET!! Can't wait!!
I hope ADAM gets a lot of support from fellow artists like he always gives to others when they release new music!!

Avicii tribute concert Dec. 5 in Stockholm S. Featuring Adam Lambert. Celebs that did his songs , many celebs it's big deal. He always wanted to have his songs played by a big band. His father and many others putting this together. It said he committed suicide I did not know that. All the proceeds will be donated in his name for suicide prevention. Just read an article.
It is a tribute concert article from Rolling stone.
A big deal or Adam, hob-nobbing with some big names, I assume.
