On Sunday's benefit webcast for GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), Together in Pride: You Are Not Alone, to support GLBTQ community centers nationwide, Adam Lambert announced that he is auctioning a collection of 15 of his most iconic concert stage costumes to benefit GLBTQ youth through GLAAD.
My new organization @FSFoundation_ is teaming up with @GLAAD and @eBay to auction off 15 of my iconic stage outfits!! 100% of proceeds go to GLAAD for their support of LGBTQ people in need during COVID-19. Go to https://t.co/wdWjcodUq4 to bid now through May 6! #eBay4Charity pic.twitter.com/oixCq6Udvx— ADAM LAMBERT (@adamlambert) April 27, 2020
The auction was initiated by Adam's own charity, the Feel Something Foundation, in partnership with GLAAD and eBay — the latter of which is displaying the collection and will receive all bids through May 6th. The auction is administered by Matchfire, a company which characterizes itself as "a comprehensive auction management service focused on creating successful high-value, high-profile promotional auctions for charities, nonprofit organizations and top brand companies."

Wow what a great idea should raise thousands of dollars !
Yes, this is a very good idea. Those stage outfits are part of his history. I enjoyed the interview, too. Short but informative. It focused on the LGBTQ theme very nicely. Wish the show had been televised.
I notice that those splendid black leather, gold-studded, gold fringed sleeves that Adam wore during his first tour with Queen (and his own tour previously)... my favorite!...is not shown among the above group. But perhaps those are not all that are being made available. Not that I could afford them...but, oh my! Those sleeves should go to the Smithsonian, IMO!
I checked out the ebay link above for the auction, and just out of curiousity, averaged up the total bids on the items 15 Adam has up for sell....so far it is over $13,000. I see that it is not necessarily the total outfit, but just a part. For example, that handsome black lace shirt with the shiny bronze jeans and black vest which I really liked....only the lace shirt is for sell. He looked SO sharp in that outfit! It makes me remember him singing "Love Kills" and "Save Me".
Took a look and found it tempting to click here and there to bid but alas can't afford to compete with others. A wonderful and worthy idea!
I think some of those clothing items would look really cool as a wall display in someone's home. They are really works of art. Hope the bids keep going up!
Just saw a video using Adam's "Time For Miracles." It shows photos and vid clips of people doing medical work for the virus as well as footage of Adam in the original video. It's quite good. Hope it can be posted here, too.
VOTE ADAM! Most Stylish Man April

Thanks for the reminder, Mi Re La. Johnny Depp is ahead of Adam, and we only have 2 1/2 days for him to catch up! But if ALL the Glamberts vote,we can still do it! I just did, and I can still get in one other vote before this month closes....remember, 48 hours between votes!
Looking forward to The Talk on Thursday! We have to take Adam any way we can get him nowadays. Apparently he will be doing an interview only, no performance. The Talk women really like him. He's been on the show before several times.
Dee R Gee...it has always looked to me as though the Talk Show women want to eat him up! Can't blame them...he's so likeable/loveable...besides being an immense talent, and "old hollywood handsome".
I keep checking out the auction, and bids are still rising....way out of my league! I wonder what the bidders plan to do with those clothes if they win....wear them...make a display with them...give them as gifts...or....?
I also wonder whether the bidders are male or female...or the percentages of either sex.
Wouldn't it be nice to know those answers...after the auction is over? We wouldn't have to know their names.
Well, it's a great idea of Adam's, and I'm delighted he's getting such a good response. Also, now he'll have more room in his closet/s! haha. I'm sure he will put it to good use!
Just checking up on the Auction again....the tally's still climbing....the bids now total $18,609...nice!
