Luv it. Everyone of them is right.
So happy for the fan that Adam did see it! Great video!
I never get tired on these "Adam Love" snippets by other artists. It's amazing how much respect he gets for that amazing voice!
The fan who created the first video just posted a "Part 2" — which I've posted! For anyone who doesn't have Twitter, sorry, the videos have not been posted on YouTube (and won't if Gelly or one of the others doesn't video capture it).
Thanks broddybounce... I don't have Twitter. Love the video...always nice to know how many in the entertainment world are Glamberts, too....such praise by his peers (especially musicians) must be very gratifying to Adam.
It only reinforces what WE already know.....so we, of course, are not surprised, are we? In fact, the ONLY surprise is that every living person on earth doesn't already know that too.
Just watched Part 2. Anybody who thinks Adam is just a minor player in the music biz should think again. He has made a place for himself and these comments prove it. And it's not just about QAL. He is respected for his solo work, too. Love these comments from major stars!
Nanbert — wait, you said you don't have a Twitter account, but you can still see the video..?! I thought the video was embedded in the tweet and that you wouldn't have access to it unless you had an account. ?? I guess not. If that's the case then I needn't worry so much about there not being a YouTube version ... right?
Just thinking....all that praise must put a great deal of pressure on Adam to maintain his high standard of vocalization....knowing how carefully he's being scrutinized by experts. He has said he likes the adrenalin rush in live performing....but follows that by saying he's never perfectly satisfied with a performance. Yet, both Brian May and Roger Taylor have remarked on Adam's "confidence" in his voice.
I often wonder if Adam does a lot of voice exercises and singing to keep his voice in "condition" when he's not actively touring and/or performing. I always worry also about his hearing...since loud noises can distort/injure it...and Queen is certainly LOUD! Although he wears earpieces most of the time, he often removes one or both for some reason during a song. His hearing is the key to the inhuman accuracy of his voice!
Broddybounce...all I know is that I couldn't access the first video, but could the second one ...with the same photo. So, I assume it was because it was some adjustment YOU made. That happens often here....two identical-looking entries....one on Twitter, which I can't access....and another which I can. I'm SO technologically disadvantaged that I don't even know how to describe it.
Sorry my response is out of sync with yours. Sometimes I start a comment, and then get sidetracked before publishing it...and therefore miss the comment between times.
Broddy....To clarify, I could access the two videos above from DILAMBERT...not the one from Adam Lambert.
When did you last try it? When I initially put up the 2nd one, I still just had the first tweet I had on originally that you couldn't access. But when I realized that one couldn't be played directly on the page, I added a duplicate of that tweet (separated out from Adam's tweet) so that the video could be played without having to go onto Twitter. So, if you were able to access the second one, which is now actually the third one, you should be able to access what is now the second tweet up there, which has the first of the two videos.
Does that make sense or did I confuse you?
But it's great to know that, just for the videos, you don't need a Twitter account to view it. I did not know that. I'm not sure it's the same situation for Instagram, though.
Broddy...Just tried it all again before this response. I think I got it. (It's sort of like rubbing your head and patting your tummy at the same time..haha>).
The first video on this page (with Adam Lambert written on cape)was a tweet from Adam Lambert in response to the video to him from DILAMBERT...I couldn't access that one.
The second video (also with Adam Lambert written on cape) from DILAMBERT to Adam....I could access.
And the third video on this page...also from DILAMBERT (with Oprah)...I could also access.
Haven't a clue why...for any of it! I don't think I can access instagrams either. Although, I have the feeling I might have been able to through this website, and, like above, because you performed some magic to make it possible.
From now on, I'll give you detailed info on what I could, and could not, access. O.K.?
Now, at the risk of being accused of being a blog-hog, I need to share one of the most flattering compliments about Adam I've seen.... while we're still on the subject.

No, you got it right. The video that's in the first tweet and the one in the second tweet are the same video. I just added the second one so that people who don't have a Twitter account, as you, are able to see it. Perfect!
O.K.! Keep up the good work! And thanks!
Love hearing other artists praise for Adam's voice !
Just had a huge wind and rainstorm blow through Chicago late yesterday. Lots of damage. Power outages. We had no power from 5pm yesterday to 5am this morning. No wifi either. Glad it's all back on. We have some limbs down but no damage to our house. Others near us were not so lucky.
Fun seeing the green-tailed Pharaoh!
Wow, Dee R Gee...saw news about that on TV. Must have been terrifying! Did you have any warning? Newscasters gave it a very strange name I never heard before, but can't remember now. Glad you're O.K.
Yes, we were warned for hours ahead of time. We were ready for it. But when it hits, it's always a scary thing. Lots of recovery work today. Glad to get back to normal things like my Adam passion. LOL
Dee R Gee....FYI, I just looked it up....that storm was called a "Derecho" by the weather service..the name for "a fast-moving violent windstorm"....first I ever heard that name!
Dee R Gee you got lucky. One brother of mine and his family live in Chicago and a Tornado was close to where they live. They lost power at 4:00pm.and they still don't have power, and ran out of hot water. He was told they may have to wait a few more days for their power. I live in Indiana and I lost power too but only for 2 hours and 45 minutes. :(
No big deal but my brother lost power at 3:00 pm., I'm the one that lost it at 4:00 pm.
Adam got some sort of new IG pic by some water. He's out and about with someone or other. That's good. Nobody just wants to stay at home.
Fresh from my satellite feed - Adam hosts Divas Live 2012 https://youtu.be/2n_T0Isf6ww
Thanks for the Divas link! Adam did a great job hosting that show!
Computer back up, electricity returned. How did old people do it before air conditioning. 5 days without power. Temps high 80's low 90's. My son told me to get to a hotel after 2 nights at home not using my cpap. I didn't know how to find a hotel, so my daughter in law did it from their home in Missouri. 3 nights at the hotel, come home during the days to spend the day with my cat, mow lawn, throw out food, annoying the amount of work that can get done without electricity. I move slow. Damage to me was my beautiful maple tree had a large branch stripped of and was laying in my neighbors drive way. I have a neighbor who came and cut it up and it's piled in front of my house. My poor tree is really ugly but I think it will live. No stop lights for 3 days and then only at very major intersections. Downed power lines, hard to get around. Lots of businesses have generators and so do private homes. I'm not one of them. I got to unpack, do laundry, go grocery shopping...........and on and on.
The damage is jaw dropping. Too many people in the area still hurting.
So sorry, Patria, for all your troubles....but thank goodness you're safe, and your electricity is back again.
So sorry for for all that happened to you all. Hope all is better now. I believe Adam's mom has a dog name Chatlie.
Chatlie...or Charlie?
Oh, Patria! I'm so sorry to hear about your disaster!
Thank you Nanbert, Sue and Dee R Gee.
I finally got a good night's sleep. Now back to trying to stay safe from Covid and hoping the next 2 weeks show I'm still Covid free.
Sorry type O I meant to say Charlie. A dog name Charlie Nanbert.
Humm....she named the dog Charlie Nanbert, huh? I wonder if we're related. hahahaha (could'nt resist "messing" with you, Sue.)
I will write that again lol. Sorry, that was a type O. I meant to say Charlie, Nanbert. Do not mine you messing with me. I just saw the post.
haha....just found your response now. We gotta have our laughs, don't we? Especially these days!
BTW...Hope you're feeling better little by little. A chuckle now and then HAS to be helpful.
Nanbert, I am doing better. I have my good days and my bad. Yes, we definitely need some joy right now.
