Wow! I was hoping this would be it! I am surprised I am the first one here to respond. Just got home and checked in. The set list is fantastic and the variety of venues is outstanding! The best gems from so many of their tours.

And unlike the release of Queen-only songs, this QAL tour release will give Adam his share of the proceeds. Much deserved!!! Perfect timing during this pandemic. Bravo!

You just never know what's going on behind the scenes with Adam.

I commented about it on the post below so did a few others. This is so great.
I can see a huge amount of teens dancing and watching. A CD for the car and the DVD for home. Need to check my DVD player have not used it in a while.
It may need replacing. Just fabulous news.

I preordered CD / DVD and T-shirt. Can't wait. I'm very excited.

I was thrilled/privileged to order the CD+ DVD combo. Now...the wait! Hoped they were prepared to be swamped, so there won't too long a delay after Oct. 2.

Of course, here in the U.S. we have a postal service "interference" going on. I'm even more worried about the mail-in voting working than the QAL album arriving!

God Save the U.S. Postal Service!

The Denocrats are meeting again this weekend to try to do just that save the post Office. Chuck S was on James Corden show last night. He said he thinks they will win this one. Guess we will see.

Looks like we have potential hurricane problems early next week going towards texas. The mayor of Houston was just on.

BTW...In my meanderings, I found this on youtube....a REPOST of the "Tour Watch Party" that QAL put out for 24 hours, and then removed.

Enjoy! I'm sure some of this is included in the forthcoming album we're so excited about. In fact, it may have been a "taste" to whet our appetites...and to test the prospective market for the forthcoming album.

Another new (8/21/20) entry on Youtube...from Gelly....Brian May calls Adam Lambert a "Gift from God".....

We've all heard something similar at other times before, but I never tire of hearing Brian compliment Adam...because he is the one REALLY in the know! How wonderful they found each other!

Sue Smith said...

Thanks for the links Nanbert. He is definitely a (Gift From God). It must be wonderful to be on tour and other wise work with people like Adam, Brian, Rodger and the others. Not all bands respect each other and enjoy each other as talents and people like they do. They are also friends beyond touring.
Some person that was interviewing Adam ask if they talked when not on tour. Adam said of course we do they are my friends.

Post updated with a few new things including Adam's IG & Tweet promoting the release, video coverage from ABC's Good Morning America, an article in PEOPLE magazine, and a truncated promo video which comes from Brian's YouTube channel.

Ooh thanks broddy for the extra reviews and such you added. I did my best speed reading to get in all the reviews. Hahaha I preordered my copy of CD/DVD earlier. Can't wait to get it. :)

Blugram....exactly the way I feel about the trailer! I've watched it several times, just to resurrect that intense, excited feeling of anticipation waiting for QAL to appear....with that electronic humming/static sound vibrating down to your bones.... and building up the suspense until you can barely stand to wait another moment. Genius....just like the rest of their program!

And speaking of waiting for the concert to start .... remember this, guys..? One of the most thrilling and electric moments I have ever seen!

You know what, guys — I decided to do a FLASHBACK post of the above, which is now live. It occurred to me that there could be a lot of new readers who have never seen it, or there may be longtime readers who missed it last year OR those who did see it but who don't always read the comments so would miss the opportunity. So let's make it available for everyone!

Such a fabulous feeling it gives you when watching that reveal....

I am coming back to the comment section on this post and one other post — so, sorry, but some of you may get this message twice! — but it seemed these two were the best posts to make sure that everyone who usually comes to comment sees this. It's about Q+AL Live Around The World, so one of these original posts is definitely "on topic," while the other post is the one about Adam doing the David Bowie tribute but I chose it because it's the most recent one where there are a lot of people commenting.

Just wanted you guys to know that I found a great deal for the Blu-ray/CD package on First, it has been discounted down to an amazing $14.49 — THEN, they are offering a further 15% discount on top of that, which is good through Dec. 31st — AND, free shipping if just $25 order, BUT if you are below $25, then it is only a very, very low $1.99 to ship.

I was able to get the whole thing, including tax, for $15.63.

The reason I came about this is that I was looking for a copy to send to a friend, found this great deal, and wanted to pass on to all you guys. (Oh, and I should add here that it didn't feel right to make a post about something like this as if we were officially promoting a music retailer's business, you know? Queen Online's store is one thing, but not a regular business.)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
