This is great news! Sounds like a huge event around the world. Glad to see Adam be a part of it! Now we'll all wonder for the next 2 1/2 months about what he'll sing and what he'll be wearing. LOL

Omg! Another event with Adam in it! Is’nt this the same event where QAL performed in New York? Was’nt it hot that day and Adam got sick afterwards? Sorry for all the questions just wondering. LOL. Anywho I can’t wait to see him, so happy I never had any plans for vacation this year because it seems Adam has been in some event like every month and I won’t miss him. Hahaha

Buisness is back !! I hope this epidemic is behind us so that we can get back to the normal course of our lives. Very happy to see Adam play in events.

Awww I went to the Global Citizens Live link broddy posted and seeing Adam Lambert first listed among the artists appearance makes me smile. That’s all I wanted to say. :))

Adam is definitely in good company. Saw him listed in the same sentence with Demi Levato, Billie Eilish and The Weeknd. Makes me really happy!

Dee R Gee....THEY'RE fortunate to be listed with Adam!

Hi!....I'm back from a trip, and couldn't wait to get here to see what Adam's up to. I'm not disappointed....more to look forward to...hurray! I hope Adam is pleased with the gravitas he's being credited with in the entertainment, philanthropist, activist, world citizenship, etc. categories. He's worked hard on all his endeavors...and deserves all the kudos he gets...and more!

Dee R Gee said...

Nanbert, yes, they are fortunate! I love seeing him in the big-name category!

I will be out of town here and there till the end of August. Taking a few short but much-anticipated trips to meet up with family I haven't seen since December of 2019. Will likely take my laptop top along but probably won't have time to post much. Will check in here, though, for sure. Really enjoying everything has going this summer and into the fall!

Dee R Gee....as to your first comment here....yes, we'll all (of course) be wondering what Adam will sing and what he'll be wearing.

But I bet that's exactly what Adam is wondering now, too! I hope for something uplifting, but any music will be perfect...as long as he is singing it. But, I just hope he decides on long pants!...and hair in all the places hair is supposed to be on his head...color discretionary! ...heh heh.

Enjoy your trip. Stay safe!

Dee R Gee said...

Haha! Love your "hair request." Trouble is, Adam is not very concerned about what we think about his hair. He just does it the way he wants it. Sometimes, the goofier the better. As ofr the long pants, I'd prefer those, too, but he he gets the urge to show his calves, that's the way it's going to be. Never a dull moment.

We know that whatever song he sings, it will be great. That's a given.

Nanbert said...

Yep! I DO love his "inventive" outfits and hairdos, but they at least should enhance his appearance. But that voice NEVER fails to please.

Is anyone wondering the same thing as I am .....why is Queen (QAL) not included in this Global Citizen event? They were simply smashing in the last GC. They are sort of a "fixture" in those events. Doesn't seem properly "global" without them. I wonder if Adam will sing any Queen songs during his performance... so the audience can sing along with that more familiar music....for example, the very stirring "We Are The Champions" comes to mind.

Well, at least Adam is most definitely "global" with or without them....so proud of him! Another well-deserved feather in his cap! He'll be magnificent!

Dee R Gee said...

There may be several reasons why QAL will not be part of GC, but one reason might be that Brian is not 100% yet. Just guessing. There are plenty of top acts in the event, not the least of which is Adam Lambert as a solo performer.

Dee R Gee said...

And besides, GC has multiple locations. QAL and solo Adam wouldn't be performing in the same place. Adam has not been a part of GC as a solo artist, right? Only with QAL.

Unfortunate news about the opening performance of Cinderella in London. ALW posted that one fo the cast members tested positive for COVID and so the authorities said they had to cancel the show. The other cast members are fine, but they had to postpone it. I'm sure everyone is devastated, not to mention all the people who bought tickets. I assume there will be a quarantine period or something. Really messes things up.

Fingers crossed that Adam's Vegas shows will go on as planned. COVID is not done with us yet, and now we have that delta version. Please get vaccinated if you haven't already.

BettyC said...

Vaccination is the solution to get out of this pandemic. I know many don't want to out of fear. But you have to get information from your doctor, rather than obscure sites on the internet, to better understand and make up your own mind.

Patria said...

Betty I agree. I've come across a new dilemma. I like and use a chiropractor for pain relief without meds. However, I can't find one that has been vaccinated. That's a large group of people quietly sitting out this pandemic. They are getting no pressure put on them. There businesses still are surviving.

Dee R Gee said...

Chiropractors come in such close contact with people, like most medical people do. It's a shame that they don't all find it simply logical and safer for everyone if they just get the darn shot. It's free, it's easy, it's virtually painless.

I'll bet that 99% of people who choose not to get the vaccine got vaccinated as infants and toddlers with the vaccines that have saved millions of lives for decades. Just about all of us got vaccinated for:

polio
diphtheria (whooping cough)
measles
mumps
rubella (German measles)
tetanus
TB

These vaccines have prevented countless deaths and just about everyone buys into their use. But somehow, this CODVID vaccine has acquired an undeserved political agenda that is killing people unnecessarily. And yes it has been tested and tested and retested. It's safe for the vast majority of the population. Please get vaccinated if you are able.

I sure hope Adam's Vegas shows will happen. So sad about Cinderella's first show.

Patria at first I was like Adam went roller skating? Ha Then I see Nile Rodgers had something to do with this. Adam is so cute in the pictures and video of him roller skating and holding hands with this woman ( don’t know who she is) but Adam just being adorable! Geez it’s been a long long time I last roller skated, very carefully and slowly I must say, never mastered those skates! Lol

Nanbert said...

Haha....Adam's not ready for a Roller Derby, I see....so cute! I love the fact that he just goes out and gives it a try...and doesn't worry about not looking macho. But he certainly looks handsome...and loveable! Hope he didn't fall.

Nice to see him connecting up again with Nile. They seem really fond of each other. I've often wondered why Nile wasn't featured in that Avicii tribute concert along with Adam...maybe COVID concerns? Adam really knocked "Lay Me Down" out of the ballpark! I keep revisiting it regularly on Youtube.

Nanbert said...

Speaking of Adam's performance at the Avicii Tribute Concert....it was ICONIC! No doubt you all have seen it already....but for those who haven't, for new Glamberts...and just because you can't see it too often....watch this gem on Youtube:

PERFECT! Another Masterclass by Adam! Right?

I admire Adam's willingness to get out their and do things he knows are going to go well. Like juggling. But for someone who hasn't been on skates for over 25 years, he's doing great.
Also looks to me like he's getting his weight down and is dressing accordingly.

Nanbert, "Lay Me Down" is absolutely one of my favorite videos and I watch 2 - 3 times a week.

There's video floating round on twitter of an interview with Chris Daughtry. Broddy can you bring in short one where he talks about Adam. Chris sez 'Adam performs with Queen with power and pizzaz'. Thank you Chris for an original description of Adam.

Here's the tweet info I found in Kelly's feed.

Adam has been pretty rare on social media lately. I can understand him even though I miss him. Fortunately we have news of him on other accounts. He looks good and seems to be having fun.

Patria....thanks for that link to the Chris Daughtry interview. A very talented and very nice guy! Chris was certainly generous with his compliments of Adam during the interview. All true, of course, but always nice to hear it from someone in the industry...from among Adam's peers.

Just posted Adam at DiscOasis and mentions of him by Daughtry and Lyndsey Parker. I actually hadn't seen your comments, Patria, about DiscOasis and Daughtry til after finishing the post just now, but appreciate your letting us know.
