I had heard of Billy Porter but I wasn't really familiar with his career. I googled him, and he has been a very active actor, singer, advocate, etc. He is gay and is married to his partner. Nice that he gave a shout out to Adam for coming to his show.

Haha...It looks like Adam has been necklace shopping at Home Depot again. Who else but Adam can carry that off? Imagine getting through security in airports with that necklace in your luggage.

I'd love to see what his jewelry box looks like! I personally prefer that emerald and gold cascading combination of necklaces that he wears from time to time...gorgeous!

Adam does love those big chain necklace things. And those layers of jewelry. some of which very good with his clothes. His accessories can look very elegant and expensive or pretty Home Depot, depending on his mood.

I distinctly remember watching the video of his Idol Tour finale show. When all the top ten had sung their songs, they are came out onstage together. Adam took off his multiple necklaces and tossed them into the audience. That video must be out there somewhere. A fan took it. He was asked about it later, and he said that the jewelry was nothing special or valuable. So he gave it to fans.

Adam goes from the heights to the depths in fashion, IMO. LOL But it's always fun in its own way. I like him best with a sleek, sexy style that at least LOOKS expensive even it it's not.

I love watching Adam "change it up" in his style....but hope he gets through the "!SHOULDERPAD!" phase he's wearing in this photo....makes it look as if his shoulders are "hunched" up...or he has no neck...unflattering lines for someone who has such nice broad shoulders and graceful posture! It never did anything for Bowie either!

BTW, Dee R Gee, that's an interesting story about Adam tossing his necklaces into the audience at the end of the Idol Tour...that's the first I heard of it. As broke as he was at that time, I'm sure it was all inexpensive costume jewelry...but doubtless invaluable to the fans who caught it, and great momentos.

I'm got the biggest fan of those exaggerated shoulder pads that he wore a while ago. But it was the look that he wanted and it was a designer look. Whatever he wears, it's pricey, so I wouldn't be surprised if each one of the shoulder pads cost a pretty penny. LOL

Not so sure....I suspect he pays by the LABEL, not by the shoulder pads...heh heh!

A silly thought....imagining Adam throwing that chain necklace he's wearing now into the audience!...flattening a devoted fan! heh heh

Also, I wonder if Adam wore that chain through Airport security. A chain of that size could rightfully be considered (and used as) a weapon!
