Oh my gosh I bet his little heart was just pounding away up there at the beginning! Another perfect performance with a memory of a lifetime.

QAL were earthshakingly perfect! And Adam was, as usual, stunning, regal, and in superb voice! Loved Brian rising up in the center of the statuary to deliver a blistering guitar rendition. Roger's drums shook the streets of London. It looked and sounded as though all of London was present and singing....and Adam's voice still soared over it all.

Can't even imagine how Adam could contain himself! He looked so confident at the opening, standing in the center of that row of drummers, but I can't imagine any amount of practice that could have prepared him for this moment....but he SANG!...and how!

And I bet this wasn't even on Adam's bucket list!

Final thought... I am relieved Adam didn't wear the crown to that outfit.

No offense to the Brits amongst us, but I thought it was so cool that the first singer to open the Queen's Platinum Jubilee ... was American! :) But, truly, Adam was like our US Ambassador to the UK today — along with Diana Ross, Alicia Keys and his friend Nile Rodgers — a fitting tribute to the Queen, to our dear friends across the pond! <3

Thank you, Mi Re LA! The watch the whole thing in its entirely is so stupendous. Adam was beyond superb! And I think of all the people watching who have never seen Adam before and were blown away. Adam must be pinching himself. I'm in awe. The American performers at this event are all big stars. What a great show.

What a spectacular entrance for Adam!!! The whole performance by QAL was phenomenal! I cried a bit when Adam was standing among those guards on the stage and his strutting on that long walk! ❤️ This also didn’t make the haters/trolls not happy, and I’m glad they suffer every time!!! Adam is here to stay haters! Hahaha

Speaking of haters, Sunflower, I read one idiot reviewer who cattily asked why Adam was wearing something that looked like a Turkish sofa cover!...obviously not knowing (or caring) that Adam's coat was a costume from their current QAL tour...or recognizing that he obviously shouldn't be expected to wear street clothes during such a momentous performance!
He/she just "hadda take a jab" at Adam!

And, by the way, after watching this several times, I finally realized Brian's coat had BADGERS on it...in perfect keeping with his campaign to save the Badgers! I hope he DOES get his wish to become a Lord, which will give him a vote in Parliament, an opportunity to save the Badgers.....and maybe even to save the world! I would be content to have the safety of the world in Brian's hands!

The Jubilee performance was sheer joy. I've watched it many times already. And the little intro with Queen E and Paddington is so cute. The purse thing is so funny. Meanwhile, we have more QAL to enjoy to our heart's content.

Nobody could be more stirring and majestic for that opening performance than Queen and Adam Lambert.

Just thinking....that performance was.... FOR a Queen, BY a Queen, WITH a Queen. Something nicely symmetrical about that...heh heh.

QAL.....What other worlds are there to conquer next? Superbowl halftime pales in comparison to this Jubilee performance.
