NEW TRACK FROM ADAM LAMBERT! "Mad About The Boy," Theme Song To New Documentary On Noel Coward

Adam Lambert was asked to perform the theme song to the new documentary, Mad About The Boy — The Noel Coward Story, directed by British filmmaker, Barnaby Thompson. The song, "Mad About The Boy," was actually written by Coward and originally released way back in 1932. The track was released today, Friday, October 7, 2022; the feature film will be released at some point in 2023 but there are no indications as to whether or not it will be presented in theatres and/or on streaming platforms.

It has also been announced that Adam will perform the song on the BBC series Strictly Come Dancing this Sunday, October 9, 2022. We will surely post video of that performance when it becomes available.

Eeeeek!!! I am in love with Adam’s version of “Mad About The Boy”! One for repeat playing! Love love everything about this song, so so good! Adam is truly a master when he records cover songs, he makes cover songs sound fresh and if it was written for him, and sound better than the original ( sorry to the original recordings), but it’s true isn’t it? Now we wait to see him perform it! 🥰
One thing my Glamily, I do believe Adam’s version of “Mad About The Boy” has “James Bond vibes”! It definitely sounded to me like a movie theme for a James Bond movie and I love it! ♥️

Wow, guys, we are all in sync — James Bond theme is the first thing I thought of when I first listened to the song. It is Adam's time to be invited to sing a James Bond theme!
Adam as a choice to sing a Bond theme is LONG overdue. He's got the perfect voice for it. Big and classic and clear. Can't wait to hear him sing the song on the Strictly Come Dancing finale tomorrow. Warner also says he is working with them on new music, too. Things are starting to rev up! I'm assuming Adam is getting ready to start rehearsals for the Witch Hunt shows.
