i have questions... who is the girl? is this a recent pic or is it old but newly released? i hope it's recent 'cause that means he shaved the facial hair!
don't like adam's shirt though. -___- cuss words are not my thing.

Anonymous said...

Not a fan of cuss words too but Adam looks great on that shirt!

I think this was from back in August when Adam had his album cover shoot. The girl is FUKO (sp?). She is the Senior Art Director over at Sony and is working on Adam's cd cover.

Thank you! can't wait too see album pictures!! <3333
and it's good to know i'm not alone in disliking bad words. XD oh well.

omg Adam....that shirt. I don't like it. Not that shirt. :( But it's okay. And that girl is so lucky!

Anonymous said...

LOVE ADAM !!!! DON'T LIKE SHIRT!

Anonymous said...

Adam looks good as always but the shirt has to go. He looks trim in it and handsome but the profanity has to go - it lacks taste and intelligence. We all know how very intelligent he is so it is actually demeaning to him to wear.

Anonymous said...

Shirt has to go!!!
...But I still love you Adam!

OMG, he looks exactly like Liza Minelli. That is TOO funny. What's the big deal with this guy? He can sing, but he's not the greatest singer I've ever heard, I don't get why fans of him are making death threats to people who don't like him.

Adam looks gorgeous, but the shirt is tacky. This is actually the first time I've seen him lacking class - worrisome.

I have removed a few trolls' posts. Please don't troll here because you'll get deleted anyway. And if you don't like Adam, go spend your time somewhere else! This place is only for Adam fans!

Adam can wear what he wants and always looks great doing it!Love u Adam(:

Anonymous said...

The way this guy lives is life, it upsets people that he wears a shirt that says the F word on it? That doesn't make very much sense.

Anonymous said...

She's working on his album cover? I hope it's beautiful and not....well, like something some megadeath type band would put out.

Anonymous said...

Disappointing to see the shirt choice, not cool. None of the taste and class I've come to expect from him.

Anonymous said...

Am I the only one who really doesn't give a .... about the shirt? Free speech and expression, deal with it. Its a bandwagon I thought people were already on... *sigh*
love the updates as usual, Akane.

Meg said...

Yeah, I was very disappointed in the t-shirt. That is sooo NOT Adam. He has more class than that. The profanity isn't cool or cute, just tacky and low-class. (Adam isn't low-class, the shirt is).

Anonymous said...

if you're light hearted
easily offended
or have a god complex

you might wanna get off the train now, because it's gonna be on helluva crazy ride..

i guess you could say adam is not for the faint of heart

Anonymous said...

Why are some people offended by a shirt that has the F word in it? I don't get it! I have worn a shirt that has a F word in it and I wore it for fun. Why would anyone care or get offended by that?

Anonymous said...

Free Speech, ok. Language is fluid and words change their meaning over time. I didn't know what that phrase on the t-shirt meant so I checked the urban dictionary, very ugly, violent and abusive. The shirt has a crassness that I haven't seen in Adam's interviews. Would he wear this shirt in front of Leila or his grandma?

Admin said...

This thread is getting out of control. I didn't expect so many people to be offended by this shirt. But please don't use this against Adam though. People make mistakes and Adam is only human! Also, Adam may have interpreted the meaning differently when he saw the shirt! I mean, I had no idea what it meant when I saw the shirt.

Anonymous said...

LOL at people whining about the profanity of the shirt. It was not a public appearance, so I guess he can wear whatever the hell he wants. Jeez. Didn't know we still lived in Victorian times....

Anonymous said...

Are you kidding me with ppl having problems with his shirt?? Adam can wear whatever the hell he wants to. If this is shocking to you, how do you get thru his live performances??? Better get used to it. And since I can't log on under any profile but under Anonymous, I will identify my user name now. I'm Daynalane.

Anonymous said...

The vulgarity is not classy. Adam is far too intelligent for that.

Sally said...

I think the reason the profanity on the shirt is offensive to many is because that particular word is not one that most people have in their daily vocabulary and is considered a profane/vulgar word.

Sally said...

And for those of you who think that we, who don't like it, should just "get over it", perhaps you all should "get over" the fact that some people don't care for it. JUST BECAUSE WE DON'T LIKE IT DOESN'T MEAN WE ARE WRONG.

Sally said...

And for the person who said they didn't know we were still in Victorian Times:

Class is class is class whether you lived in the late 1800s or live in the new Millenium.

O___o

Oh. my. god.
If you DON'T know what that word means (there's someone who actually doesn't ? I...am...speechless..) you probably aren't old enough to even be watching Idol. Oh my god, its a freaking t-shirt. Practise your restraint -- yeah, if you dislike it, it doesn't mean YOU'RE wrong, just like there's nothing wrong with liking it/not caring.

If all it takes is a random shirt for you to describe Adam as unclassy or 'not intelligent' which, actually, is the most disingenious rubbish I've ever heard, some fan you are. Profanity doesn't make you less intelligent; its how it is used. I shouldn't have to be freaking explaining this for him. Its a T SHIRT. He isn't making out with several people or doing drugs or something actually 'tacky.'
Redefining your definition of that is probably what you need right now.

Sorry, but Akane just posted a cool photo of Adam, and suddenly its a moral issue. Its about the music and the awesomeness of him. It doesn't mean you always have to agree with his personal choices, its what seperates us as individuals.

Done.

Anonymous said...

OMG what is going on here? Why are people saying Adam has no class? Just because he wore a shirt that has the F word on it doesn't mean anything! He's not disrespecting anyone! People should spend their time being offended by something more serious in the world right now!

I don't like the F word but I'm not going to call Adam not "classy" or "not intelligent" for this simple thing!

Anonymous said...

I know. I had the misconception that Adam's fanbase would be more tolerant and liberal.. Jeez... I mean, of all the things to nitpick at that are occuring in the world, people go mad at the most frivolous thing...

Like I said somewhere else, I think the AdamDrought is making people go delirious/hysterical.

Super Sachiko said...

Some of you guys can't read. No one said that Adam was classless or tasteless or unintelligent. They said the SHIRT was. What I have read is that people don't like the shirt (and i am one of those people) but we still think adam is very classy! He is kind-hearted and polite and sweet and we ALL know that whether we like the shirt or not!!

Some of you are just starting fights. You are attacking us. ("us"= the ones who don't like profanity) We are merely attacking the shirt. You are in the wrong and we aren't, because you are the ones attacking fellow fans, while we are attacking... a word on a shirt. WE are not the ones starting this argument.

To the person above me who thinks adam's fans should be more liberal, Adam actually has many conservative fans. I am one of them. Adam's fans are so diverse and we believe so many different things!!

Akane don't delete this thread. There's no reason to delete a thread just because people post things you don't agree with.

"Done."

Anonymous said...

I agree with Sachiko! I am Adam's biggest fan but I do not like profanity and swear words. I still think Adam looks great in those pictures though! But the shirt is not my cup of tea~

Anonymous said...

Ok, first Adam looks HOT! second I love the shirt! what's with all these "OMG cuss words?" LMAO Adam is a 27 year old man who has been living in WeHo for 8 years, do you think he doesn't swear? you uptight old biddies need to jump off this train if the word fuck offends you, seriously because you can bet you'll be hearing it and not just reading it from Adam.

Anonymous said...

LOL if a t-shirt with profanity is giving you pause, I don't think you're gonna last on the Adam train very long. The guy likes to push the boundaries in such a way that I suspect this t-shirt is tame as hell in comparison. And I can hardly wait.

FYI, the shirt isn't just some rag he pulled out of the closet, it's from a hot young LA designer Bryden Lando and his future heretics line. No way to know for sure, but since the day that pic was taken was the 16 hour album cover photo shoot in NY, there's a chance it wasn't even his and was worn for the shoot.

Take a look:

I'm guessing that many of these "so called fans" who are offended aren't really fans at all! there is no way in holy hell that an actual fan of Adam's would be offended by a t-shirt, sorry just not buying it.

Seems more likely some butthurt Krisstans or even some bitter Claymates here stirring the turd as usual.

Anonymous said...

I'm seriously mystified at the number of people objecting to the word Fuck on a t-shirt. Is this maybe a generational issue? Or a cultural issue? I'm a college graduate in my 20's living in California and the word "fuck" is not only part of my everyday language with my friends, we all practically use it as a preposition. In fact, among pretty much everyone I know, the word has become pretty much meaningless from overuse. My PARENTS use it, it's truly no big deal.

Now I wouldn't use it in most professional situations -- although it's still not uncommon at all to hear in my corporate workplace.

Considering it's on a t-shirt in the midst of an photo shoot for what is HOPEFULLY an edgy album cover that I pray breaks the mold of some of the typical Idol album art, I think it's totally 100% appropriate. Adam's not trying to sell you insurance, he's a damn rockstar.

Anonymous said...

The boy likes skull-fucking. Think of it as a little wordplay.

Anonymous said...

Adam has class, Adam is intelligent. If so, then he knows exactly what that shirt means and he left class in the classroom.Adams fans are going to have a rude awakening one of these days. I will just stand by and wait for the implosion.

Anonymous said...

I love how Super Sachiko just completely failed to see my point. :D
Thanks fans above ^^
you seem to have some degree of intelligence.
s'laters.

Anonymous said...

The T-shirt is for a band with that name. Adam does not discriminate and neither should you guys. I think you're all just jealous because he won't ever say that word in your ear when you're alone. I know I am.

From Futureheretics.com their own website:

[her-i-tik]
ORIGIN: 14th Century Latin from Greek hairetikos ‘able to choose’
1. Anyone who does not conform to an established attitude, doctrine, or belief.
2. A person who holds controversial opinions, especially one who publicly dissents from popularly accepted belief.
3. A person who holds unorthodox opinions in any field.

If this doesn't describe Adam, then nothing does. I saw the t-shirt in question on their site, so maybe it has nothing to do with a certain band. I agree with others who say if you're not ready for a little controversy and out-of-universe (nevermind the box) behavior, then you're not ready for the Adam train. Next stop if you're gonna get off is the "Boringtown Depot". Stay on track and it will be a runaway train!!! Most of us will stay on.

Anonymous said...

in my opinion i like the shirt and just because he's wearing a shirt with a cuss word on it doesn't mean he's not classy he can wear whatever he wants

Anonymous said...

Here's a thought. Adam has a lot of older women fans who are trying to jump aboard the Adam train. He made a whole generation of cougars feel like they could be cool again. On AI they only saw the tip of the iceberg and liked what they saw. The problem is Adam is a lot deeper and a lot cooler than they are capable of handling. I fear many of them, me included, may not be able to hang on for the ride. But, oh, I so want to!
