Adam Lambert Beats ABC

Boston (ChatterShmatter) - Adam Lambert has recorded a victory as he has beaten ABC, and has been invited to perform on The View.
ABC announced late last week that they would cancel his scheduled performances.
These performances were set to take place on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Dick Clark’s New York’s Eave, as well as Good Morning America.
He was told late last week though that he would get to do none of these performances, causing a great deal of negative press to go toward ABC.
ABC has buckled since, as they have stated that Adam Lambert can come back to the network and perform on The View.
He is reportedly being allowed to perform a song on the hit show.
GLAAD has put out a statement to UsMagazine, stating that this levels the playing field a bit.
Many fans of Adam Lambert felt it was unfair the way in which ABC simply dumped his performances.

It's not enough to get invited to a pre-recorded appearing of The View. I've heard nothing about him be re-invited back for Jimmy Kimmel Live, Dick Clark’s New York’s EVE. This is the move ABC needs to make. Not some consolation prize.
I agree with the previous comment. Do the whole right thing ABC, put him back on Kimmel, NYE, and GMA, plus an apology and offer him his own special on ABC with the guests of his choice. Yeh, that sounds like a good start!
I agree. ABC needs to ask Adam back for the NYE show. That's when I'll stop protesting ABC.
You are not helping Adam's cause with the title of your article! Adam did NOT beat ABC. Geez, get real.
I agree with the previous comment. He should be rebooked on Kimmel, NYE, and GMA. Also,an open apology with an offer of his own special in primetime live with guests of his choice can be ABC's way of making up.

Glad to see Adam on The View - it will be the one and only time I watch it, though. Not a big ABC fan to begin with, and their treatment of Adam Lambert didn't make me one.
Keep the preasure on ABC = diplomatically of course, but let them know their ban was uncalled for and over the top - LOL!
I don't care about the Jimmy Kimmel show, but Adam needs to be on the Dick Clark Rockin' New Year's Eve show. If not that one, then another network New Year's Eve show, but ABC needs to reconsider and give that choice spot back to Adam as HE is the hottest rocker out there at the moment!

No way in the world is ABC being let off the hook by Adam's fans! What they did was so completly morally reprehensible that until and unless they make a formal written apology to Adam and his fans we should not let up on them. This is one small step in the right direction, but no way does this square anything as far as ABC is concerned!
It is a shame that abc decided to pull all his performances because they panicked when 1500 people called in to complain, they should consider the millions that stand by Adam and I do mean millions! I saw that Pink did the same act with a man back in 04 can someone say double standards?
Have been stating this same thing on every article that refers to the "VIEW". NICE FIRST STEP ... NOW STEP #2 ... ADAM BACK ON NYE! Go to every site with an article about the VIEW & say we want ADAM back on NYE! Go to ABC & respectfully ask them to reconsider their decision. I have been on their site stating our case. Everyone else should too.

Adam Lambert is the best. ABC you better get on board. His voice is fabulous and he has such a wonderful personality. He's pretty hot too. I'm tired of people trying to tell people what to watch. When our children were younger we took the time to make sure the shows were age appropriate. I think a lot of parents are too lazy to take the time and complain after the fact.
ABC - you have lost a viewer if you do not start treating Adam Lambert with some respect. The guy is amazing. I am tired of lazy parents that don't take the time to make sure a show is age appropriate. The lyrics on the songs prior to Adam's performance were about rapes, there was crotch grapping and yet you still allowed your kids to stay up until Adam was on.

Yea, it is ok with ABC to have people listen to Eminim about rapes, to see movies and things on tv about gay men relationships, have women show the same sexual acts, but not ok for him, yea,m what a double standard,,, tired of it,,, he already has shown that he knows he made a bad judgement call at the time,and had no intention of upsetting anyone,,, and I totally believe that... and he is still the incredible singer, gentleman, nice guy that he always was,,, abc owes their ratings to him, and he will bring them even more people watching if he is on the new years eve show,,, he is the most exciting and incredible artist out there now,,, we want to hear him sing all of his incredible songs that are on the album,,, he doesn't need a babysitter in abc,,, I know he will not do the same thing again,,, he is going to concentrate on his music and voice,, and still give incredible performances,,, everybody give him a break, and let him get his career off to a new start,,, we all want to see him ,,I do all the time,,,and even if he is gay, did anyone notice that most of his fans are women, who are really hot for him? he is so good looking, such a great personality, articulate, intelligent, talented, and just plain exciting,,, so go adam,,, and get this guy back on tv,,,, give him a tc special,,, he will get incredible ratings!
Yes, ABC, reschedule him on GMA, Jimmy Kimmel and rocking NYE. Barbara Walters knows how to get ratings!! Follow her lead!! Adam rocks!!!
Come on ABC! REinvite him to Rockin' New Year's eve or you will have very few viewers, certainly not the thousands and thousands of Lambert fans we know. We love and adore ADAM. Plus, we will be in the hospital with our son his exact age who has cancer and were looking forward to watching it during his chemo. Give us a treat ABC!
