Kris Allen on Adam Lambert's AMA performance

“I thought it was Adam being Adam,” Allen, 24, gushes to reporters at Madison Square Garden, “Obviously, he couldn’t do that stuff on Idol, and so you’re getting to see the real Adam now.”

All of these artists must be really tired of answering that question. Hey Rod Steward whataya think of Adam Lambert. Hey Barry Manilow whataya think of Adam Lambert. Hey Kris Allen whataya think of Adam Lambert. Who cares who you are but whataya think of Adam Lambert. Good for Adam although I am really sick of the AMAs.
Sorry, but this is not the most supportive comment from Kris. The AMA performance was one event and one interpretation of one song. The "real Adam" is so much more than one of anything! Adam deserves better from those whom he has supported unconditionally from the beginning.
Kris got it wrong, that was not the real Adam. Adam does sexy performances, but nothing like at the AMA's. I thought it was planned, because the announcer repeatedly said everyone would be talking about it.
I think Kris was not very kind or truthful with his statement.
I'm not sure how to take this comment from Kris. He was the guy I voted for but I was expecting him to back Adam. I was all estatic when Lambert tweeted to go buy Kris's CD. I thought yeah, they really are friends. Cool. But I am not sure if Kris meant this to be like mean or if he was joking. Without a video I can't tell. Since he is my boy, I'm going to take a pass and hope next time interviewed he is supportive of his fellow Idols.
I think Kris supports Kris.
Kris isn't like ADAM ... he does NOT do interviews well not even for himself. So even though I wish he would have said something more supportive, I don't think he was intentionally trying to NOT support ADAM. Kris is just being Kris. He's not ADAM and never will be ... Idol or not ... when it comes to interviews ADAM SHINES ... Kris DOES NOT!

Adam has always backed Kris unconditionally. Kris could have given a more supportive answer.
I've always liked Kris, because Adam adores him. However, I couldn't quite tell, as well, from this message whether or not Kris was really trying to be supportive. One thing about Adam, he very clearly states his support. There is absolutely never any doubt whenever he vouches for his friends, esp. Kris. I love you so much Adam! You are the most wonderful person in the world!
