That's all I can figure from the sight of screaming, occasionally weeping, young women inside and outside MuchMusic's Queen St. W. headquarters on Monday, where Adam Lambert appeared live on MuchOnDemand.
They do know he's gay, right? And someone has explained to them what that means? Just checking.
Anyway, there wasn't a lot of news to be had from the Q&A session (once the screaming died down enough for Adam to hear the questions): he likes Toronto, he was here three or four years ago with a touring production of Wicked; being famous is overwhelming sometimes; he's learned to live on about four hours sleep and caffeine; he cries at movies (including Avatar); he'd love to sing with Christina Aguilera.
The most interesting revelation was that Adam will be on the red carpet at Sunday night's Grammys for Entertainment Tonight, interviewing celebrities. From American Idol to the American Music Awards to Oprah to ET, that's quite the celebrity trajectory for our favourite Idol runner-up.

Geez what a homophobic remark... please get off the gay stuff, Adam deserves better. People scream because they love him,love his voice,his gorgeous looks and his wonderful personality,no expectation of sleeping with him. Please get a reality check or another job.Tired of the gay card.. move on.

I agree, why is the G word always mentioned. I know, you know, we all know. Soo? That doesn't stop the fact that Adam is one of the sexiest man alive!! HOT! - VERY HOT!!
It must suck for insecure straight guys to discover that the gay guy is the one women want. Hot, sexy, talented beyond belief, intelligent, articulate, humorous, beautiful, secure in his own identity, confident, compassionate, multi dimensional, exciting....what's not to love???
adam has what a girl wants and needs...smart,warm,caring,and mad raging vocals and a sexy hot bod and beautiful smile that lights up a room! wish more straight guys had that package! Adam rocks!
Um, I don't think the writer of the article meant it offensively? I honestly think he was just joking, like teasing the fangirls a little. But yea, hot as what Adam is.
Can somebody, anybody, everybody STOP with the GAY thing, please? It is extremely ANNOYING.
I totally agree with Anon #6 and poprocks. He's what women want. I think a lot of straight men can't understand why women are lusting after someone who doesn't find women a turn on. His being gay is probably threatening to some of them who are not as secure as he is.
I love everything Adam does, but it seems as Adam is becoming more popular as a Celebrity.
