I don't think this is a good move for Adam. It's a casino/resort where some of the other upcoming acts listed are Paul Anka, 4 Seasons, Chicago - good music - but OLD music; people/groups from the 60's and 70's. Why does his mgmt. have him performing here? Why doesn't he just wait until his tour? Just my opinion ..

I agree with the above post..a Casino?? also the Grammy'a red carpet...seems his talent is way way above these venues!

Good Lord, people! A gig is a gig. It isn't as if it is a parking lot!! It is a good chance to see how fast he sells, if this size venue is appropriate and to have fun and make some cashola!!! Adam is a full player on his management team. If he didn't want to do this, he wouldn't be doing it. And, since when is John Legend old music? He is playing there also and apparently is current enough to have been on the Hope for Haiti now telethon.

ADAM is popular with people of all ages and since this is a casino there will be ADULTS there and he can perform without CENSORSHIP unlike on TV where they only shot him from the WAIST up on Ellen! WHAT? Come on!!

Lot's of musicians play resort/casinos and other smaller venues, though I hear this has the capacity for 4,000. He is selling like crazy and I was lucky enough to get 2 tickets this morning as soon as they went on sale!! I am so excited I could scream!!! There will be all kinds of people because it is CA. It is great starting point next to the Gridlock.

I just got my ticket to see Adam! I am so excited to see him perform again in person. YEAH!!!! Will be flying down from Seattle!

By the way, he is not performing in the casino lounge, but at the event center at the casino location. Big venue! I suspect his management is testing the waters to see how he sells, give him a chance to do a dry run of sorts, before a full blown tour schedule is planned or announced. Maybe they wanted to give US fans an opportunity to see him perform before he heads overseas to promote his album. Who knows the reason? Doesn't matter? From the way tickets are selling I don't think the location is a problem for anyone who really wants to see Adam perform. That's what it's about, isn't it? Not some preconceived notion about a particular venue or location but the artist himself. It's ADAM for heaven's sake!!! This will be a night to remember!

I agree that this is a "test" performance and probably carries a big pay day. I understand they are going to have David Cook perform this year as well, so this is not a age thing. And many many Adam fans (trust me on this people) are senior citizens. I just wish I could go and may have considered it if I had known earlier. The only thing I'm wondering about it why this was announced only a day before tickets went on sale!!!

Kelly Clarkson performed at the Fantasy last year---it is a Great venue and has over 3,000 seats==all good seats---and great sound system and giant JumboScreens=and a great hotel/casino Adam will love it here and so will his fans!

I got my tickets, too, this morning. I called 10 mins. before 10am, and finally, at 10:20am somebody answered and I was able to buy 2 tix. The agent was really in a rush (but not rude) coz he said that it's been crazy and I was asking lots of questions and he's afraid I might lose my place. We'll be flying from San Francisco and booked a hotel 5 miles away since Fantasy Springs is sold out. I am super excited I'm going to see and hear Adam again live...

FYI, John Mayer plays everywhere, casinos, cafe, etc... and he is not a has been...
