Adam just quoted Kahlil Gibran on his twitter!

"Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself. Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;for love is sufficient unto love."

-Kahlil Gibran from The Prophet

Love this quote!

If only everyone lived by that philosophy!

I love that book. I tried to use Kahlil Gibran's On Marriage in my Wedding Ceremony but the minister nixed it. We live by those words anyway. As for the countdown, I have been putting unplugged 1st and the video 2nd simply because they are showing the unplugged version.

on vh1 top 20 countdown someone said we should put WWFM as no. and WWFM unplugged no.2 because we are competing each other.

Just keep voting .. they're both getting counted & the number of votes is what counts for any video. VOTE! as OFTEN as you can! Don't STOP!!

To 4:33 - It was YOUR wedding. I would have nixed the minister and kept the ceremoney the way I wanted it. My friend in high school had a quote in the yearbook. I don't know exactly where she got it from, but it sums up Adam's philosophy to a T and it's so simple: "Have the courage of your convictions." I know it is not always easy, believe me. But I think this beautiful human has made it a little easier for me at least.

Thank you Adam for reminding us what it means to be human. Here is how I can really thank you! Go to www.jandj-publishing.com and you can find all three books of the Prophet trilogy in one beautiful edition.
I hope you enjoy!
