PW: Any other changes you'd make to the show?
Nigel: I'd lose the fourth judge, I don't like four judges. I'd keep Ryan Seacrest and probably change the whole panel to go with Elton. The one thing everyone forgets is that "Idol" is an onion, it has many layers, but it's about the talent. I think we'd forgotten that a bit -- thank goodness for Adam Lambert because he was an outstanding talent that people could talk about.

AI peaked with ADAM LAMBERT last year. And it was perfect timing for Paula to leave with Simon leaving after this season. I agree with Nigel that there should only be 3 judges and overhaul the whole panel next year if Elton John is really joining the panel. But what I know, Randy has 1 more year to go and Ellen was signed on for 5 years. And Kara perhaps still has 3 years?
If anyone connected with Nigel Lythgoe or his staff, or SYTYCD and it's staff, is reading this this (you never know, they want to keep up w/ what's hot in the public's eye etc etc) PLEASE use Lambert's music on the upcoming season of SYTYCD!! So many great tracks to choose from - Please consider strongly. I'd love to see Lambert on the show as a guest appearance again - think it's a great marriage - but at least choreograph a number to one of his songs once during the new season!!
i agree, i would love to hear adam's music on SYTYD. btw, please get your copy of Jeanue and xena's book "on the meaning of adam lambert", great book, it is all about us (adam's fans) available from amazon or their website Jeaneau and xena's salon.

There is a video on youtube that has Adam's beautiful song 'Broken Open' playing in the background to a performance from 'Dancing with the Stars'. Adam's song substituted the real song. The dance,and music seemed perfect for each other. It was so beautiful. Of course only the people who go on YouTube are able to see it. It would be wonderful if that show, or
'SYTYCD' would use that song for the show. Adam could sing it live. I would not miss that episode if that were to happen. ~Wicked Glitter~
