Adam looks great, but although I love his guyliner, this is way too much for my taste. It makes him look harsh.

Since this was at G*A*Y we're thinking Adam wanted to really swish it up a bit, after all he had been talking about it for sometime now. Its all pressure and excitement, and seeing as this was in the UK (only the most musically inspiring capital of the world in terms of glam rock) his gig there was obviously his way of living up to it.

Totally agree with 6:03. It's called glam, and it's a bit of theater exaggeration. It's not what he would normally wear.

The more make up ADAM wears on stage the more VISABLE he is from far away. The make up is only to ENHANCE his features to those who are not up close but in the back of the club/venue ... that's why ADAM wears a lot of make up .. coming from a theatrical background ADAM knows how to make himself more Visable ... otherwise he'll just BLEND in with the others. Being the STAR .. he SHOULD stand out!

I totally agree - Adam keeps on saying he dresses up for show/ocassion, he's a performer!

Anyway, abt the show, I am so happy that it was a success, per twitter reviews!

As much as I love Adam -- and I REALLY LOVE him, imo, his appearance here (style of make up) reminds me too much of Liberace, Boy George and Elvis in his later years. To me, he looks much older than his youthful 28. I know he is reviving "Glam" but I hope he stylizes it with a more youthful "face." He'll be "older" soon enough. No need rushing it :).

yes, we all love adam although deep inside am sure we have a little bit of reservation on he dressed up and sometimes too much make up on but we have learned to accept all that. no one is perfect even with our own children, we could criticize them too, it is just a part of being human.

i have read in one of the blogs about a person who was a huge fan of adam's vocal power but adam's lifestyle is too much for this person to digest. initially i was the same, being involved in a church (religion) i did try to fight back my admiration with adam until one day i made up my mind to let go and learn to educate myself to accept everybody irrespective of their faults and sexuality, and now i am enjoying his music with peace of mind and glad i could share this deep admiration with other people through different blogs (adam's fan sites).

Yeah, 4:43PM, me too; Adam changed my perspective to gay men. Now, I am so open and very receptive! He is just a great talent and nice young hardworking man who just wants to entertain. And as an older sister for him, I want him to succeed which is what is he is getting now.

i go to a bible study regularly and it was explained to us that idolatry comes into different definitions, you either idolized an image or a person, it went on saying idolizing or being obsessed with a celebrity is also a sin. i felt hurt inside knowing my admiration with adam will probably leads me into an obsession. i prayed for it and finally got an answer which i am very comfortable with i.e. i don't need to advertise my admiration with adam, i could share it with my family who are very supportive and the people who are on the same boat of loving adam.

I'm obsessed with Adam and am having sooooo much fun reading what other Lambrits,Glamberts,etc have to say and sharing videos,radio interviews and photos about him. Wish I had the opportunity and tech know how to reciprocate. Hope he'll come to Charlotte,N.C. and I'll be able to make it happen. funbunn40
