Congratulations Adam. We don't know how much Mr. Lambert has earned, and this is information we should not know. I personally am thrilled for his success. He is working incredibly hard, and his concerts appear to be sold out as soon as tickets are available. This young man is a once in a generation talent, and he deserves everything good that comes his way. I wish him health, wealth and love. A straight male fan.

I heard Slash on a radio interview where he said he talked to an Idol producer he knew to get him tickets to see Adam perform on season 8. The produced did, but made Slash promise to come back to the show as a Mentor on Rock week. Slash really only wanted to see Adam in person, but he did the mentor thing and said it was a good time. He also said that Adam has a huge career in front of him. Remember that Slash was at Adam's Birthday party?

Who really cares who makes what. We all know Adam is doing REALLY well and I'm so thankful for that, he deserves it. Its too bad that a certain, obviously young and rather silly (IMO) Kris fan comes here to make dubious statements about her favorite Idol winner, and even worse, makes rude and unsubstantiated statements about Adam. Sort of like the proverbial "My dog is bigger than your dog", so childish. (Although, I do think Adam's is bigger.....oops, I digress!) Anyway...(phew, lost my train of thought for a moment...) I prefer Adam to Kris (obviously) but certainly acknowledge that each has talent and are very different in their musical styles and the directions their careers are taking. They are friends, they respect each other and neither of them likes it when fans start bashing. Adam is the "wild child", Kris is the more mainstream "tame boy". To each his own. How many former idols started out HEADLINING their OWN tours rather than OPENING for someone ELSE? Not being a follower of AI I don't know ... but I would think you need to be a MEGA talent to sell out your concerts in record time like ADAM has been doing!! Until I read this article I never realized that downloads of an album are not included in album sales. So Adam has sold over 3 million copies of his album. That's fantastic!

p.p.s. I would have loved for Justin Guarini to have done as well as some other runner ups have. I thought he was going to be huge, and would have liked Idol to have helped him do that, rather than restrict him so he wouldn't compete with Kelly. Have any of you seen his Idol tour performance that summer where he dances and leaps down the staircase as though gravity doesn't exist - all the while singing beautifully and shining so bright that he lit up the room? Amazing.

When Kris came to San Diego for the Padres opener he gave a free concert at the Hard Rock Hotel. Adam is selling out everywhere and brings huge rating for Oprah, Ellen & Leno. He does not need to do "free" concerts unless his beautiful heart decides to.

I like Kris but there are so many far more talented musicians here in San Diego playing the circuit that make Kris look like an amateur. Adam is a wonderful friend of Kris'. Why don't you be a class act fan for your man Kris. He deserves that... not U!

Could always see Adam going to the top and deservedly so. Would love so much to see his Glam Nation concert, but I am in Oklahoma; and he is not (currently) scheduled for Oklahoma/Texas. Would love to see a CD made of the concert for those like me that do not have access.

Just hoping your comment was directed at the silly Kris fan on this thread, trying to stir up trouble, otherwise not really seeing that anyone else is going on (much...) about Adam versus Kris and all that. I just love Adam and can't help singing his praises on here and elsewhere! Was disappointed last year, even Kris was shocked at the finale, but who cares now! Adam sure doesn't, and why would he??? Adam is wildly successful, Kris is doing what he's doing, in his own way, undoubtedly very happy with his life, all that matters, AND they have their friendship. Adam also gets a lot of the publicity, because, well, he's ADAM, and the media love interesting people, not to mention the talent!!! I'm sure they have to pinch themselves once in awhile, just to believe how things have turned out for each of them. I too am happy for both. Might even go see Kris perform if he makes it to my area, as long as I don't have to hear any negative comments about anybody else.

(Gotcha!) - I'm actually responding to one of the anon. posters who makes sense and sounds like an adult (May 20, 2010 10:01 PM) ... I'm having trouble believing that the stale, worn-out Adam vs. Kris rhetoric is still going strong, one year later ... We've all gotten a year older -- and I would have thought that some of you who were stuck in an adolescence state of mind then would have grown out of that by now.

I've been so "spoiled," discussing Adam and other music with mature-acting people who have interesting perspectives that I had almost forgotten about the people (like those running rampant here) who just don't seem able to carry on intelligent conversation without demeaning others. I imagine these people are "bullies" in school and elsewhere, have trouble getting along with others, and haven't yet learned that if one has confidence in his/her likes and opinions, there is no need to cut other people down in the process.

For those who are fans of Adam, they should take a lesson from Adam himself, in the way he conducts himself. As for the anti-Adam fans -- I can't imagine why they don't have enough to keep them interested elsewhere, without going out of their way to make negative comments on someone they don't even care for. (Well, actually I DO - People with Adam's charisma and overwhelming talent historically attract massive attention from fans and detractors alike.)

It s pathetic when Kris fans brag about his win. Everyone knows that the cheating in Arkansas brought in Kris's victory.

Who cares who makes more, you will never see it. Both are successfully doing what they love and the way they like it. Holding a grudge this long must be waring on you. Staying bitter causes stress and is not good for your health. You can't change it, no matter how many time you try.

Not everyone knows/believes there was cheating in Arkansas. Besides, neither are flying off the charts. They are both having to earn their way.

I will say one thing, Kris got the title and with hard work and his beautiful voice Adam has already did a lot with the GNT, and he was a fantassic entertainer and we saw 9 shows and they were wonderful and I am sure he made good money on 114 or so shows.....He is an enternational star......Love ya Adam and bless ya......
