I am so excited but the only thing is is that are these small venues? Idk part of me wishes that he toured with someone with a lot of fans and bigger places so he could get more fans but don't get me wrong small can be better more up close and personal :)

Don't be upset that these are small venues. Be happy that Adam is out there and booked in these concerts. Adam's career is just taking off. Think of Adam as a toddler just learning to walk, Is that toddler going to run like a two year old tomorrow? No. He's going to learn how to take steps carefully so he doesn't fall down. Each step he take gives him more confidence and more strength so he can run someday.

Adam is going to be so BIG that we'll all be complaining that all we can get are seats in the arena or stadium that make Adam and the band look the size of ants.

Chins up, everyone. Don't complain that you're being hung with an old rope. Hanging by a new rope makes you just as dead. lol

Optimism fans, optimism. :)

Deus te amat and I do too

I actually like the idea of this small venues. The more intimate he gets with his fans on his first tour the more succesful he will be(look at lady gaga). I know he will blow us with his amazing performance and the world will talk about this tour for years and that will definetely create a bigger buzz and more demand from people. with that comes increase in album sales. I feel sorry for those fans who didn't get his tix to this glamnation concert, ofcourse had these shows been in bigger arenas, fans won't suffer getting those tixs. But try to see the bigger picture here. This dude is going to be iconic and he will have massive following within this year alone.
Anyways I got my tix to the Shooting star show MN, and I am super excited...yay..

haha...this is a very funny post..DD you are a very funny person and I think you have 100% good reasons here for Adam not to be in the AI finale. Nice job on the research and all!
Cray cray fan!

"People just relax! Adam is going to be at the American Idol finale 1000000%. Reason:
1. They need rating
2. they want to put a show instead of a mediocre snoozefest
3. Adam is free on the 26th...I just checked his upcoming shows and he is free (05/23 thru 06/04) so he definitely will be there
4. Adam's management is Simon Fuller, he would want to give Adam the exposure for his new single IIHY, considering the push he got for WWFM on his last appearance
6. Even Danny Gokey has a gig for the finale (he is going to be the host of AI at some bar in Party Allentown, PA ....LMFAO)
7. The producers should be dumbasses not to bring Adam back
...so people I think these are enough reasons to relax and just sit tight until His-sexiness graces the Nokia stage on the 26th....Sigh*
I love you all Adam fans for ur passion!
And keep loving the love-child, he is worth every minute!
DD"

I like small venues. They are more intimate.

I think only established stars like Britney and Gaga can tour big venues across the country. Adam's time will come.

Small venues are the ticket. If they were the huge 20,000 seat places, I wouldn't be there. You're likely far away from the stage and might as well just listen to your ipod.

I can not WAIT to see Adam in a small venue! I am going to try and get as close to the stage as I can. I'm getting chills already, just thinking about it. I hope he sweats on me! :-D

The small venues this year will be replaced by huge venues in the near future, and I for one am so grateful to have had the opportunities recently and coming up this summer to see him so close that I didn't need binoculars, to be able to measure the distance between him and me in feet, not in hundreds of yards. To be able to see the joy on his face when he could see all of his fans up close as well. For him to be able to see us as individuals and not just the mass of humanity that comes with the arenas and stadiums is something that will soon pass. Lets celebrate these smaller spaces while we can and not be in too much in a rush to lose those rare and fleeting moments of intimacy that we can enjoy this summer. Adam is having the time of his life and so are we!

IT'S SUCH A TIGHT SCHEDULE...I'M FEARFUL FOR HIS VOICE. WATCHED A GREAT INTERVIEW WITH LONGINEU AND HE SAID AI FINALE (HE THOUGHT).

I have to thank Adam 24/7 or I would not have known about him coming to the 9:30 Club in DC! I remember suggesting on this very sight a couple of weeks ago that he come to the 9:30 Club so, wow! I got tickets yesterday..and it was NOT easy let me tell ya! I heard it SOLD OUT. So, that was quick!

I cannot wait to see him. I prefer the small venues to the stadiums for Adam. I'm sure he'll grow into stadiums some day but I am tired of stadiums because you end up watching the big screen so, it's like TV..yuck. If you have to use binoculars than it's way too big.

Plenty of small/medium venues in Texas and Louisiana. Please don't leave us out.

I am so mad that the 9 30 club has no more tickets!!! I tried calling in the radio station but I didn't win :(

I thought Adam said in an interview that he would have liked bigger venues but couldn't afford it????
