In an interview with Frontiers IN L.A., Lambert is asked about living in Los Angeles to which he says: "I have so many friends here. Even now, after everything that’s happened, I go out and I run into a ton of people I know, and I love that. There was definitely a point, probably when I was 24 or 25, when I was feeling a little burned out on the city, but then I joined a new community of people. I think what makes this city so special is that there’s so many creative types here and I think if you seek out what you want, you can find it."
The singer is then asked about his musical influences which he reveals to be: "I love a lot of the electronica stuff from the UK—I’ve been gravitating toward that lately. I had my moment when I was all about the classic rock years back, but lately it’s more about pop-electro stuff. I love Goldfrapp, La Roux. And all of the American pop divas, of course—Gaga, Christina, Madonna, Rihanna. I love all of them.
And then I have my streak of indie electro stuff, too. Miike Snow I’ve been listening to. Stuff that’s ambient. I just listen to way too many different types of music."

It is a beautiful part of Adam that he is so firmly attached in LA and loves it so much. I really believe that you can be "in love" with a place that nurtures and supports everything that you are. It frees you to go out in the world and take risks and work hard and experience much (good and bad) knowing that anytime you return, you are truly "home". His life in LA did not just happen, he embraced and created it and now it is the refuge he so truly deserves.
