'For Your Entertainment' is officially Platinum in New Zealand!

According to Radioscope's website, Adam Lambert's first album For Your Entertainment has gone platinum in the country of New Zealand. He joins Slash and Rolling Stone etc for this spectacular achievement!
In addition, after the release of If I Had You, the album shot all the way up to #5 this week!

This is the best news EVER, I was just wondering the other day how his album sales were doing here, I was buying his UK version of FYE as it has been released here. I love that New Zealand gets Adam Lambert. Can't wait for him to come here on his International Glam Nation Tour.

WOW! The population of New Zealand is about 4.2 million people and a platinum CD is sales of 15,000 and more. If my math is correct, that would mean that a FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT album was sold for every 250 people. Way to go New Zealand!

Yes Adam is everywhere here. Walked into The Warehouse he was No 5 album on the top 20 stand. Into our local garage and he was on the stand, and it was the album with the bonus tracks, so tempted to buy it, love it that he has the other cover on that one too. (The one with his hand over his face showing his gorgeous eyes). I have been skiting Adam to all my friends and family and now I can say SEE Told you so!

Way to go NZ I am proud of you, I am in NZ and have been wondering how the Album was going, I to have just bought the UK version as well as several copiies of the original for gifts. ADAM Platinum!!!! You guys in NZ truly ROCK!
Us Kiwis love him...his album has been in the charts since it came out here in November. Was number 5 on TV countdown this weekend! He has 3 singles in NZ itunes top 100 chart too. Went to get the newly released UK version with the extra songs today and the shop had sold out...the man has gotta come and perform here!
