Adam Lambert climbs back to #2 on VH1 Countdown

After seeing his reign at #1 on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown come to an end last week, Adam Lambert is heading back in the right direction -- up. On Saturday's new edition of the chart, "If I Had You" is now sitting in the #2 spot.
As usual, the main contributors for Adam's chart success are the devoted fans online who vote on a daily basis. He also gets some support from casual listeners who enjoy the song, but the main driving force behind artists on the VH1 countdown is the size of an artist's fan base. Lucky for Adam, he has one of the most devoted groups out there.

That video was horrible IMO. The song is a little catchy but the video is just.....pandering to the straight guys.
I forgot to say that striaght guys don't vote. How did it get to #1?
good news & great job....'up' is the right direction. Called a local radio station & req'd IIHY and ended up in a 10 minute discussion with the DJ...quite unexpected. Could be a combo of Adam's concert and my 2 cents that I am now hearing him on that station (unsolicited). Also threw a hint about a meet & greet should there be one....no shame here!!!
Be nice people. I myself voted a lot more than I thought I would because it upsets me that the radio stations are so slow to play his music and I just don't understand it. However, so many good songs have come out for summer, we can't complain about #2. Katy is a great performer too and probably got to #1 the same way Adam got to #2 - doesn't make sense to put her down. I don't understand it when people think it elevates one person to put down another??? She is a good performer who respects Adams talent, let's respect her's. Hope I don't offend you but just hope this site stays positive.

I'm happy with being #2 actually. Katy is Adam's friend. Let her have her fun for now. Adam will be back at #1 in a few weeks.
Maybe little girls vote for Katy Perry. Those who, thank goodness, won't be feminists but may become good witches :)

Oh yeah it looks like Katy isn't #1. She dropped from #1 last week. Which means if we vote more this week, Adam may be #1 next week! So get to it people! VOTE VOTE VOTE!

I tried VH1 from 3 different locations....all it does is "loading" can't get on to vote anyone else have this problem????

Still not working - just keeps loading. We are going to have a lot of catching up to do once it is fixed. Will keep trying.

That's great that you were able to talk to someone at length about Adam's music at the radio station...They'll all come around sooner or later...
.And just to let you know, I WILL be at the Honolulu concert....Needed a little Hawaiian vacation (I have a big, ugly birthday coming up soon which I am trying to forget....and no, not telling just HOW ugly....so need a little cheering up), and oh my gosh!!!!, look who will be there at the same time.....It helps to have a husband who loves Hawaii AND Adam Lambert...Got my tickets, the venue looks fabulous, so here I come....

Glitzylady - ha, ha, ha!! Yeah - try a green or blue sign, rather than hot pink. ;) Or, if you carry a hot pink sign, just don't slowly walk along the line, making direct eye contact with every person along the way. I think the whole combo just gave SOME people (lewd guys) the wrong idea!
