YYYYYYYYYY EEEEEEEEEE SSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!
Fan4fun! (That's my boy!)
I'VE BOUGHT MORE COPIES THAN I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH...I GIVE THEM TO FRIENDS AND STUPID NON BELIEVERS. BUT...IF EACH ONE OF US ADAM LOVERS, SUPPORTERS, WHATEVER PURCHASED JUST ONE MORE COPY...WE'D GET THE 1 MIL PLUS! SO GIVE ME A BREAK AND DO YOURSELF AND OTHERS A FAVOR...ONE MORE FOR THE LOVE OF ADAM'S TALENT. WHICH WE ALL KNOW IS GOD GIVEN AND ON A LOAN TO US..
If you don't already have the UK version of FYE get it ... it has Voodoo .. DTRH .. Master Plan & Can't Let You Go for the bonus tracks ... just the bonus tracks alone are worth another purchase. Also ... the Special Edition (IMPORT) has the CD (no CLYG ... No Boundaries instead) PLUS a DVD of ADAM making his album .. photo shoot ... behind the scenes of making FYE & WWFM videos .. AND .. BOTH Full length videos. Go to Amazon.com ... BOTH versions WELL WORTH the MONEY!!

I think the Japanese release also has videos. funbunn40
I live in a country where illegal downloading kind of kills the music industry. For us, the official sales don’t say too much. The idea of buying a single is also quite strange. Nobody will buy it! If someone buys anything than it MUST be a full album. I cannot understand how a single can tell me something relevant about someone's music.
If something speaks about the success of an artist that is the attendance to his/her concerts. If one sells out venues, or the same venue of thousands night after night, than …that is it!
I also listen to radio stations only in my car and only when my passangers don’t stand my own music. I don’t remember hearing my friends to have ever called a radio station and asked for a song.
Again, for us if the concerts are sold out than that is THE SIGN of success. And from what I see there… we are talking about a very successful artist :)
Of course I asked my US friend to buy me Adam’s album. (It’s not enough now. I want also the UK version and the Japannesse one.) I also told the same friend to be prepared to buy me Adam's future CDs and DVDs, hopefully, also of his live concerts since I might not see him live any time soon.
But I do found myself wishing for Adam to reach that damn platinum status in US while still trying to get the people obssession for sales and charts and tops or whatever… I do vote for him on VH1 site even though I don't know if my votes really count for something.
Also it's so stupid that people are turned off by a CD cover. Did they ever heard the voice? It seems like there were millions of US people who listened and saw the man on TV. I don't get it.
I will buy his CD with a naked ass on the cover, really!! But his cover makes one wonder.. it's intriguing.. it's pure fun.

Which country do you live in GlammyLadybug?
Also, to answer your question about the U.S. audience who saw him on American Idol: many of them wanted a rock album and don't like pop/electronic music - so didn't buy it + young teen boys are too afraid of being labeled gay and being bullied (or worse) at school if they buy an album with a gay-looking album cover + the AMA's freaked out a lot of Adam's more conservative fans, so they didn't buy the album.
Still....it's doing quite well considering all that!
