I'm sorry, but this is Brian May, music legend. Give the poor guy a break. He knows giants in the music industry. Why not ask him to give a shout out to all of them too? I mean, it IS his book signing! Have some respect.

I saw some discussion on blogosphere last week about how if OPH plays IIHY, it's actually like 25 spins, or something like that, because of the various stations that OPH gets broadcast on.
The email is requests@openhouseparty.com, which is much easier, think maybe you're only supposed to email during week 'though.

Also, trying not to be longwinded here :), but also saw some discussion in blogosphere about how MTV will be choosing vids for MTV MV awards, and Lambert fans should be boosting his hits/views there - I think it was WWFM that they were talking about (which would makes sense) because they are not nearly as high as on VH1. Not sure if people were saying that they know, or they just THINK, vids are chosen for contention based on #'s of hits/views - or what, I'm not iformed very well as you can see, but sooo frustrated w/ radio play situation today...was thinking about some other opportunities for AL's music to be heard... I gotta get back to real life :), but please, anybody who knows better about the MTV MVA's - post some info here please if you have time... Thanks.

I dont' know what to feel about this but I don't think it's unconsiderate of the fan. She just wants Adam to see this. I'm sure she didn't mean any harm or disrespect to Brian.

I wouldn't do this though. I would be all over Brian. lol.

That was rude of her to put him on the spot like that. This was his time in the spot light not Adams.

This makes me a little uncomfortable. Would have been okay if she had stopped at hey do you remember Adam Lambert, but to ask he to "at least say hi to Adam" really seemed borderline obnoxious and not helpful to Adam. Should have been Brian May's moment. Just sayin...

the good news is, Brian has been in the business long enough blow it off and the person who did this wasn't smart enough to have embarrassed herself.

Brian Mays is a big fan of Adam's so this isn't something rude.

I think it was inappropriate. Professor Brian May is a tremendous musical icon, intellectual, professional, doctor, and a gentleman. He doesn't need this crap from silly Adam fans. JMO

I kind of cringed when I saw this but I don't think this person meant any harm. I do think it was unintentionally rude and disrespectfull to Brian May who is an Icon who barely knows AL. He was kind and brushed her off gently but frankly, she did not honor Brian May or Adam very well here. I am sure she meant to honor them both & I have to admire her intent but no matter how "great" Adam is, he is not yet at the level of Brian May. I am an old rocker who remembers how big "QUEEN" got. So, maybe I am over reacting. Peace.

I believe Adam will be mortified if he sees this. I can't believe the ignorance and unmitigated gall this girl had. Was this her whole purpose is going to the signing??? The saving grace is that Brian May has lived long enough in the music world to have seen it all: the good, the bad, and the ugly. I guess stupidity is not a crime, but it's not something to be proud of, enough to broadcast it on the internet.

It was disrespectful, but pretty harmless...(and in HER mind, well intentioned).....I am a big Queen fan and my priority would be to try to babble out a few words about loving Queen...I usually manage to spit out "Thank you...." and not much more.... At a book signing you get maybe 10 seconds with the author, especially someone with his fame, and it was probably slightly off-putting for him to have to switch gears, go "What?"...and stop cold to figure out what was being said and why.. It probably wasn't the weirdest request he's ever had from a fan though (not even close)......and he's probably already forgotten about it... Some of us Adam fans CAN be a little OTT sometimes, (no one here of course).......

Brian seems to have a touch of alzheimer's or something. The person who recorded this is an idiot. Maybe all is well, she may have bought one of the Professor's books that wouldn't have been sold otherwise.
