If you didn't get to see Adam Lambert's sold-out concert Friday at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego, you may still get a chance.
A film crew from the E! Network was there Friday night filming footage for an upcoming "True Hollywood Story" documentary on the life and times of the Rancho Penasquitos-raised pop star.
Local television news crews, who'd arrived to film the singer's return to San Diego on his first solo tour, were turned away at the doors because E! had purchased film rights for the night. An E! camera crew could be seen filming from the stage and photographing some of Lambert's most colorful fans ---- a mix of seniors in silver sequins, cougars wearing homemade "Team Adam" badges, and self-described "hot moms" from Rancho Penasquitos, where Lambert graduated from high school in 2000.
No word from E! on when the episode will air, though a fan at the concert Friday said she asked an E! staffer for the air date and was later told it would be in mid-November.

Love the picture from the AI tour! OT but went to Hot Topic store at a mall nearby and bought the Tshirt with the Frontiers photo on it! Only had that one but say they will soon have others plus buttons and a bracelet saying "WWFM". It says slim fit but is for both genders so ended up with an XS and I usually wear S or M. Hopefully that helps others. It is so fricken hotttttttt ! Have a feeling that "Sarah", the very nice and informed salesperson and I will become very well acquainted! On the Hot Topic price tag, it reads ALambert-GlamNatn! It says preshrunk too. Adamluv
That's good to hear, Adamluv. I'm going to order it on their website once they add more. It was sold out the last time i tried.
I want to buy the bracelets.
can[t wait to see this.
Ah, to be able to wear an XS. In anything...
Am wondering if "E" has exclusive rights to ANY and ALL footage that might be made of Adam's Glam Nation tour. I so hope not. I hope their rights are limited to San Diego. I have this fantasy that indybeck's fabulous videos of the entire 7/10/10 Louisville concert might be made into a DVD we could purchase. I wish she could hook up with Adam himself for such a project. Just look at them (YouTube Adam Lambert Louisville). I have never seen Adam more happy,"off the leash", drop dead gorgeous, and in his element as at this concert. Each performance (breathtaking Voodoo/Rabbit Hole, stunning Soaked with nearly 40 secs of audience ovation before the finish, bone chilling Sleepwalker rivaling Leno performance, sweet Aftermath, Fever complete with Tommy Kiss, super bluesy WLL with mic licks, fabulously campy Strut)was a work of art. Not only was Adam's singing spectacular, his dancing was fantastic (esp. for Voodoo, Rabbit, Strut, Fever). Of course, I might be just a bit prejudiced.

Kentucky Fan: nice use of the term "off the leash". Quite fitting for our boy! :-D
