This week on the top 40 chart, we continue to see the steady rise of Adam Lambert as he tries to become one of the strongest 15 songs in terms of overall airplay. While he might not be there yet, the future is still bright for the next couple of weeks.
"If I Had You" rose up one spot this week to #17 on the chart, and picked up an additional 257 spins in the process. It now has 4,691 spins just on this chart alone, and there is a large gap between any songs behind it. Adam will likely pass Jason Derulo in the next 24 hours to move up to #16, and will then have to likely wait for B.o.B. to drop with one of his two hits in order for him to move up even further.
On the Hot AC chart Sunday, the increase in spin count is actually even higher -- 280, which is quite a feat when you consider that this makes up a larger percentage of Adam's 1,467 spins. He is still sitting at #20 on this chart for yet another week, and could very well stay there for even longer once you consider some of the competition that is working its way up the chart.

WOW! I'm happy... :)
So good to hear.
Yaaaay, that's glamazing!!!
Wow, 24/7 really keeps us so well informed!
Too many charts, it's confusing. This weekend on Seacrests Top 40, IIHY was again at #20 (same place for 3 weeks now). At least not going down, and before playing it, Ryan said "a lot of ppl; requesting this song"! I have yet to hear him play it during the week. Adamluv
Grrrrrrrrrrowl!! Looka that picture, you fierce alley cat, you!!
Me thinks Idol carried a lot of juice these days. There was a story on Zap2it about the Pap incident on Thursday and Friday, but on Saturday it was taken down. Probably about the same time that pple were reacting to the Daily 10 debacle, which Seacrest is a top dog with the E network. Idol wants their Idols squeaking clean even though they say there is no micromanaging. And E has a black eye, so plan on seeing this all become very low key. There are politics in everything these days. Everyone involved in looking bad will want this to go away really quick. Oh right, good news about the song's numbers.
Great about the numbers and, oh, by the way, Ryan Seacrest sucs.

Yeahhh... what a bad feline look! Now I got worried about my sweet exotic singing bird once this «bad cat» is around! Oh, wait, the «cat» and the «bird» are the same «sweet Adam»... Ha! Good! It's a harmless situation, at all...
