So, does anyone know how this works. If someone "covers" someone elses song on a recording, do they pay for the right to do that? I assume permission is required. I don't know the business. How about if it is a live performance?

I like Adam's version MUCH better. Seriously, anybody who attempts to cover an AFL song is going to suffer by comparison. TFM is one of my favorites and I hope to hear Adam sing it live someday. That sound check snippett was such a tease.

What a thrill it is to have other artists already covering Adam's music. There's no need to compare to the original, just a need to celebrate another indicator of Adam's growing international success.

It's a great compliment to Adam to have his song covered. This version was a little overshadowed by the music, but think it's great to hear other singers do their thing. Japan will be a great experience for Adam and I'm glad that the Japanese fans will have the opportunity to be glitterized and mesmerised.
