I'll be happy when they drop the "openly-gay" before the word singer every time. How about
"unbelievably talented" singer instead?
I know this is only part of the interview, but it seemed the coverage really focused on the gay part and what was shocking about the gay parts. Grrr..
How about the sell-out crowds of screaming fans or the huge vocal range?
Ah journalism--will go for the hook every time. Unfortunately, the hook is Adam Lambert openly gay Idol runner up. Will this ever go away? Well Elton John is now simply Elton John unless he does something outrageous, then he is also Gay Star...well you get the picture. It will not go away soon. Pity!!! Think it is naive to think sellout crowds and other worldly voice is going to sell media at this stage.
