I haven't watched this yet but just had to shout out that IIHY was just played on DWTS tonight! Hooray!! The dance was huge hit.

RE: DWTS - who danced it? Don't watch that show, but I'm familiar w/ who the hot pros are, would be interested to know who danced it? But anyway, yay. MGF

Regarding this thread - okay, this was AMAZEBALLS, and I try really really hard not to criticize, but WTH was up with this Scotty Rocker dude's posture/body-position?? LOL, looked like he was waiting for...something :). Just being silly, but on a serious note - Adam addressing AGAIN the rock scenario issues, hope people listen... he's done it now in several interviews over the past year, including a very thoughtful and lucid explanation to Lyndsey Parker in that "front porch" interview, and he got quite in depth here, hope it sticks. Whole interview was interesting, thanks Scotty Rocker for being an amazing conduit for some great stuff.

Great interview, much more interesting than most.But what was wrong with Scotty Rocker, he couldn't find a comfortable position to sit, it didn't bother Adam at all, In fact I don't know what they were sitting on. But I think Scotty had a few cactus on his side

MGF, the song was danced to by Lacey and the kid from Disney. Not my favorite couple but they did a good job. I think the audience really enjoyed the song, too.

WOW!!! D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s interview!!! I want to watch it again and again and again before going to bed.

Seriously, he either had ants (or somethin) in his pants, or his spine is like jello. He could not get comfortable.
I did like his attitude though. And as always, Adam did splendidly.

yah I was in the computer and listening to the interview then suddenly I heard IIHY from dancing with the stars. Lacey and the Kid from Disney eh! It's everywhere Ha!ha!. For sure the next album will be more exciting bec. Adam will show his other side "THE ROCKER". I can't wait when the fans gets rockin........... I love rock and sexiness from Adam. I'm so excited

Perhaps you could look deeper into Scotty Rockers psyche or what would give him the figits, nobody is telling. Great interview--this guys seems to understand what's happening today. If looks alone, he has the creds. Says Adam has the best voice in music today. DUH? Like we didn't already know that, but nice to have it confirmed now and again. BYW WTF is Scotty Rockers? Just askin?

good interview and LOL @ the last few seconds. Also, I really do hope Adam sticks to the more rock/pop sound rather than the dance-pop thing cuz frankly too many ppl are doing those dance-type songs (all generic sounding which he alluded to here) his voice is too good for that! he shouldn't have to compete w the likes of gaga, beyonce and Katy Perry he's his own artist and should do his own thing.

Fun interview, funny responses, Scotty Rocker has hot rocks in his ass--or isn't that what he said? Whatever, hope he gets it fixed, looked uncomfortable. Love these few and far between interviews where there is cred between the two. Adam can be a little more himself, a rock star, who can talk freely. Most interviews if he said fuck, someone would probably faint. He is thinking like someone who knows what the "fuck" he is all about and knows what music will work for him and for his fans. Also got a touch of the businessman in him. Look how well that worked for Mick.

Love how Adam looks so natural sitting next to a dude covered with tats! Both in black and leather, and Adam looking his beautiful self! Another right on interview - Adam seems very much at ease with this guy. Did I miss reading who is is? Liked his looks too and the T shirt. Will certainly be playing this again! Adamluv

That was too funny for words. I think Scotty had a twitch or something. I can not quite laughing. Adam is so charming; even this Scotty could not get over Adams charm. I still can not quite laughing forgive me while I just crack up. This interview just struck me funny because oh my God someone who didn't ask the same questions like everyone else.Praise BE! Could someone actually let Adam be himself! NO Way! WAY!

Reminded me of fidgety Michael Ware, international news correspondent. He's also like that. Just a nervous thing. He probably doesn't even realize he's moving around so much.

Anyone catch the opening when Adam references something I can't quite make out and then follows with a statement about liking to see a younger crowd. Was he bashing us older fans? Not I hope.

Maybe it is the accent but didn't you all hear what Scotty says?!
" Every time I hear your voice, it rips me a new asshole" He is sitting next to Adam who is talking to him constantly. So no wonder he is squirming, the guy is either in major pain or in major excitement.....

Good interview. Adam is articulate and intelligent in his answers. He knows exactly what he wants and where he would like to go with his music and career. He always gives credit to AI for a platform to get him noticed and to get people to listen to him. The fans have been there since day one including me. I am an older fan so I hope he wasn't bashing us. I think Adam appeals to all ages and genders. It is his talent, his voice that pulls in all types. There is no one in the music industry today quite like Adam Lambert and I think he is here to stay for a long time. Can't wait for the next album which hopefully will have all the songs written solely by him.

No 8:17pm, just acknowledging some differences between USA audiences and some international ones. In fact, he acknowledges in this interview, like many, that he would be nowhere without his fans, that the label would have dropped him. However, Adam has, in the recent past, more than hinted that it is enjoyable for him to see lots of young pretty faces in his audiences, and I never ever take offense at that when he does. I mean, c'mon, HE SHOULD enjoy those sorts of faces in his audience, perfectly natural and normal for him to do so, and, quite frankly, a necessary demographic to his ultimate longevity and success.

Wow! cool, cool interview from 2 cool Dudes! OMG! I can just watch Adam talk for hours and just don't ask me any questions because you'll probably get this from me "Huh?" I would be so mesmerized from those beautiful eyes, lips ok, the face as what just happened here that I have nothing to say... LOL!!!

EXCELLENT interview, very laid back and open, JUST like I like seeing him! Honestly, I think Adam has such a powerful presence that it's difficult to not feel at least a little intimidated by him. Even if he WASN'T a star I think he'd still have that effect.

I'm not familiar with the interviewer, but I've heard he's pretty famous himself, and he was definitely quite fidgity. Adam is a superbly confident guy, he exudes the kind of energy that would make anyone a little bashful or nervous.

I think Scotty may have a little bit of a man-crush on him honestly!:P Did you notice the "good looking" commment? I sure did. And did you also notice Adam leaning in towards him as he spoke? I think he was trying to put him at ease.

I've said it a gah-zillion times, and now I'll say it a gah-zillion and one...god-given talent aside, he's a beautiful person in every conceivable way!

Whew! Who's this Scotty Rocker dude? I tried googling him but got a bunch of random sites...some for pro wrestlers (ha, ha!). Anyway, I could barely understand anything he said because his accent was so thick, but what an awesome interview! Yes, Adam got to be more relaxed/himself, while Scotty seemed to be going through some kind of drug withdrawls next to him (kidding!). Nice compliments from Scotty...from what I could tell! :)

A "milf"??? What's a milf"?? Am I a "milf"? I am over...uh, a certain age. But let's face it, Adam knows that we are the ones with the money and the time to go to multiple concerts, buy tons of merch, and such. Yes, the young ones are more fun for him to look at, but in the US, we are the backbone of the fans. I don't think we were being bashed. Adam appreciates those of us who aren't in our 20's.

Awesome interview! I loved it! I saw Scotty outside when I was waiting in the line and I thought "I think ive seen him before, im pretty sure hes famous" and when I saw this post I remembered who he was. Also the Mexican wave was awesome! It actually went around the whole stadium, it was so much fun. :)

Scotty Rocker appears on a couple of "Hell Pizza" advertisements here in New Zealand - aside from that I don't know much about him & how he got to interview Adam .... but I'm glad he did! This interview made me laugh so hard!

This guy reminded me of little kids needing to go pee really bad! Anyway, wanted to comment on the MILF's thing. Adam isn't bashing us women of a certain age. My teenaged sons don't want to hang around us older folk... Adam appreciates us tremendously, just would rather see more closer to his own age.

Did I hear him say...there will be an accostic CD of some FYE songs coming out before his next CD....hopefully before Xmas..totally loved "Unplugged"...this man is so talented...love the way he sings different versions of same song...I don't hear much of that from other artist.....

Oh, haha, I think this is the first time I've heard Adam refer to us older fans as milf's!!! Why, THANK YOU, Adam!! You are SO sweet! "milf's" has a much more pleasant connotation than "older female fans".

BTW, in case you don't know what a "milf" is, it's a common slang for "mother I'd like to f***", in other words, an older, sexually appealing woman.

So, I have a question: can I be a «MILF» even though I'm not a mother???

Great interview! I never heard of Scotty Rocker, but he seemed to look up to Adam and complimented him a lot! All good! The comment about the older fans was pretty natural to me as I think Adam has been told a lot about his appeal to woman of a certain age. It's only natural that he would also want much younger kids in his fan base. I have no doubt that he appreciates ALL of us fans.
It was fun to see Adam interact with Scotty and he seemed even more natural in the interview. The one great think about Adam's interviews, no matter who he is talking to, Adam never dumbs-down when he speaks. He always sounds very intelligent, authentic, and down-to-earth. Everyone is treated with the same respect. I think Scotty was very excited to talk to Adam and I think the bench or whatever it was they were sitting on, was probably uncomfortable. Adam, being the gentlemen he is, would never let that show during the interview. BTW, my favorite part was Scotty telling Adam he had the BEST VOICE! YES! YES! YES! I think Adam really appreciated it!

OH. MY. GOD! Do you people realize this is the first interview where Adam, when asked with whom he worked on his album, voluntarily said "Rivers Cuomo" -- TWICE! "Pick U Up" is my fave album track, but Adam would never talk about it, never ever mention Rivers when interviewed and asked this question ad infinitum. Did he bring it up because Weezer is popular down under, or is PUU on his mind for some reason right now?

And what a huge coincidence that MGF above (at 6:20pm) found a connection between this interview and Lyndsey Parker's porch interview -- because that's only the one other interview I've seen where Adam talks about PUU & Rivers! Right on, MGF, for pointing out the similarity! What synergy! Although in that interview, Lyndsey purposefully ASKED Adam about that track because it's her fave and she knew that a lot of us fans were curious. In this interview, however, Adam brought it up all on his own (although didn't say PUU specifically). I'm happy!!

WOW! This is one interview where Adam has free reign to talk non-stop without the interviewer interrupting him, and he had some interesting new things to say.

Rivers Cuomo - I'm a big fan of Pick U Up too. <3 Fell in love with it the 1st time I heard it. Perhaps he'll collaborate with Rivers again?

HA - Adam just interviews himself sometimes!! Just get him started on music and what he believes and what he wants to do and ... time just flys by and all you have to do is just sit there and LUKKKK at him (as Scooty certainly did). So great to see that sparkle and energy still there....and he is so CUUUUUUUTE about the house thing. Beautiful, smart starshine but so down to Earth about what matters. Loved the mention about the incomparable voice - said SO well. We usually mention chills but a new body part??? Well, that's moving the description to a new level....LOL Scotty!!

Mifs everywhere can rejoice. That's a compliment. If you are old enough to have grown kids, then you've been there with the friend who likes you too much. And most Mifs were married younger than today's women marry, so we were hot stuff, so to speak. Liked the Kieth Richards anology, thought it fit. Liked Adam being himself, instead of having to always be so polite. Scotty Rocker, you rock! And I meant that literally.
