Slight modefication. The dancers had to wear pants instead of their beautiful open skirts, no kiss (obvious one), Isaac wore a shirt. Can't see much from these batch of videos but I think Adam had to lessen his hip movements as well. And yet the shows reviews from the concerts goers were all spectacular, awesome, amazing, and above all they rave so much how amazing & incredible Adam's voice is!!! That's the root of his talent... yes! :)

LP said...

for IIHY, the dancers always wore pants, although it seemed like their tops were a bit longer.

Adam jumped in IIHY. I thought he wasn't supposed to jump. Don't get me wrong, I dig that he jumped, just curious what if any happened because of it.

Anonymous said...

He can jump on stage but not allow to jump into the audience in case to cause chaos.

I am so proud of Adam! Of course the Malaysian audience raved and was amazed by Adam's vocals! Aren't we all??? That's what it is all about! Not to mention his charisma, stage presence, unbelievable, drop dead gorgeous good looks and last but certainly not least, his INTELLIGENCE! He is always in control of himself and knows exactly what he is doing! He's one smart guy! ( Oh, and he is always polite and extremely tactful)!

Did I miss one of the vids....I don't see the one for IIHY??

When Adam is standing during the pause in Soaked
amid all the cheers, I can almost hear Paula's voice saying "Go ahead, Adam, take it all in!"
So glad everything went well.

Holy cow!!! The pause during Soaked was so awesome!! The applause just went on and on. He is appreciated in Malaysia!! Yay!

WOW,Double WOW--listen to the audience reaction. Great crowd!!! Adam never jumps into crowd says he too big for body surfing and could hurt people. Also looked like he got closer to the audience than 25 feet, which would have probably put him back stage. What a difference some small nuances make, shirts, no kiss, fondling, over the top gyrations. Think the audience was so happy just to have this beautiful talented man perform. Got to love these government types, had to place their people in the audience to monitor. Wonder what they would have done, if they objected to something? Jumped up on stage and stopped the show? Would have been interesting--think the audience would have put some hurt on these officials. Just sayin. Hope they invite him back next time, and that he comes. He made that very large audience very happy.

MORE VIDEOS, PLEASE!

Btw, even Terrance had to alter his solo dance... without the booty shake... lol And yes, Brooke and Sasha had to wear a full length tops. Brooke and Adam's dance is hilarious... it's like a chicken dance!!!

Anonymous said...

WOW, what a response from the Malaysian fans after all the news about the government protesting our Beautiful Boy's amazing performances. I hope the US posts the success of this concert on the internet after making sure everyone knew he might be banned in Malaysia. No one is going to keep Adam from being the Super Star he is. Seeing Adam live this summer was an experience I will never forget. PURE JOY!!!!

Anonymous said...

Well there you go, its all over, when is he out of there?
Adam such a class act, also the glamily, well done. I love you all the more now. You can handle any situation with class.
Now bring on nZ and Australia we are waiting, and I will imagine you guys are ready to let loose.

Meanwhile, outside the venue...

Sorry, but this seems to me like a quite civilized way to make ones point ..even if we don’t agree with it. I don’t see any ..'Islam/Qur'an/GOD HATES...' No calling names either... Not in English anyway. Ain't that a democratic way to express some 'fundamentalism'? :-) (I didn’t use the term Allah because that is actually an Arabic word for God and it seems very controversial in the 2010 Malay society. Btw, Islam is the world's second largest religion after Christianity and a very generous one.. as I remember from my old readings).

Look at that YT ignorant who wrote ‘SHAME ON YOU, MALAYSIA!’!!! The Malay Glamberts who attended the show will be very pleased, don’t you think?

I was extremely annoyed by some posts on that previous (big) thread that showed (so obviously) OUR ignorance regarding ’the Others’ – the non-Americans, non-Europeans, non-Christians, non-ourselves. How uncritical, to put it mildly, one might be to believe that while blaming homosexuality, Muslims (or Iraqi or any particular country’s men) would accept/encourage rape against their own children? You 'don't get it' but you are eager to believe it! I thank you all those who tried to put things in perspective and bring some reason to the table.

The aftermath of all the craziness.. another great show without too much compromising!

Hey fans - if you want to get a little shot of adrenaline from the vibe in the room, additional to that which you can soak up from the vids (vids, yay) - you can check out the twitter feed:

http://twitter.com/GlamFansUnite/putrastadium

You'll have to go back several hours of tweets to get the tweets from the actual concert, but it's just a matter of scrolling really, pretty quick :)... there were some awesome tweets, really uplifting actually.

Just have to say that when he sings SOAKED it seems that he is in another world! What a beautiful voice this man has. If he had sang that at the AMA's last year-everyone would still be in a trance. Anyway, that said, soon he will be the biggest STAR in the world. They can't deny that he has the most wonderful voice and talent that we have seen in years...

Can someone help me since I want to see that video mentioned above. Is that 3rd letter after PJ a 'zero," a capital O or lower case o ? I've tried all 3 and cant get it to work. Thanks. Adamluv

'Zero', but better use 'copy' & 'paste'

well, it's all over now! i was on the phone with my friend in kuala lumpur and she said the international media went overboard about the news. the opposition (PAS) voiced their opinion about the concert but no rally was planned.

What a love fest! Yay!!! Audience brilliant, Soaked brought down the house, Issac in shirt, girls in trousers, above mentioned chicken dance (appeared Brooke not sure what to do, uber funny), Idolization of Tommy, Adam at top of his game, smiling his beautiful smile, taking in all the love, and lots and lots of press. Well, doesn't get much better than that.

Anonymous said...

No sound on the first three vids. Is this my problem or are others experiencing the same thing?

ADAM, SYDNEY IS WAITING FOR YOU!

My goodness, the man is so beautiful. Love that his hair is growing back on the sides. He's blessed with the most perfect hair, hope they leave it on his head in the future and not on the floor.

I CRIED LAUGHING AT ADAM DANCING WITH BROOK. HE STARTED THE CHICKEN DANCE AND SHE JUMPED RIGHT IN.
ALMOST LIKE "WELP, LET"S JUST HAVE SOME GOOD OLE' FUN.
HE IS SO SMART AND FUNNY AND JUST EVERYTHING ELSE THAT IS GOOD!!!!! AND THE MOST GORGEOUS!!!

Anonymous said...

During the pause in Soaked, I burst into tears. My thoughts went back to where this all started for him. Simon during his audition saying Adam was too "broadway" and therefore dated and turned his head away to listen to him sing. Adam stayed strong and stayed true to himself. Which lead to a standing ovation and Simon declaring that they found an international star.

Adam is only human, can you imagine how many times in his life he has had to face oppostion and hatred - this has had to take its toll on him at times. He focuses only on the GOOD and pushes forward.

Here in Soaked, he is standing center stage, once again tall and proud. He faced hatred and opposition to perform for his fans. I believe that Adam did the long pause so he could show his immense love for his fans.

He came, respected their government, proved beyond any doubt that he is amazing and a worldwide treasure.

How epic that the fans showered him back with screaming and shouting their love for HIM!

The Dark Side said it - it was a LOVE fest!!

glb @ 1:04. This site affords anonynimity and also hides your location in the world. You could be in a foreign land or live in my town. I have no way of knowing. I live in America, The US of A, the continental 48. I read, I watch educational programs on television, I listen to people whose ideas may differ from mine because this might allow me to learn something. I have a constantly emerging and changing view of politics, the world, other cultures and religions. I read that post which said that by the time a Iraqui or Afghani muslim boy child is 7 he has been raped by his male relatives and was horrified. I was angry and wanted to rail at the writer, but I thought I'd do a little research myself first. My neighbor works for a non military contractor in Afghanistan and is returning in 3 weeks. They build the forward outposts for our soldiers to relocate to once they have cleared an area of terrorists (the enemy in Afghanistan). They hire the local men to help in the construction and they speak their language. I told my neighbor what I had read on this site and he told me that it was the truth. "It has been going on for centuries. Girls in that part of the world are good for only one thing...the bride price they bring to their family when they marry and are virgins. They are checked by their future mothers-in-law just prior to the wedding ceremony. If they are virgin, the ceremony takes place; if not their father, brother or uncle may kill them in what is called an honor killing because they disgraced the family. If they do not marry, they are shunned. Girls are left alone for that reason. Boys however are fair game to a male relative. Boys can't wait until they grow up and are old enough to rape their little brothers or boy cousins. Mothers know all about this and do nothing to stop it. It is their culture." I think that sums up what my neighbor told me.

There is as case in the Pacific northwest right now where a 13 year old boy shot and killed his sleeping father with a shotgun because the father was tiring of him and was going to go begin 'loving' his 8 year old brother. The 13 year old did what he did to save his 8 year old brother and also his 6 year old brother. The 13 year old is being tried as an Adult and the death penalty applies because it was premeditated.

Simply because YOU cannot imagine something happening doesn't mean it does not exist. I did something further than calling someone a liar (without really saying the words), I went to someone who I was pretty sure would know what's what and got the answer.

Adam Lambert...international superstar receiving the love and adulation he so rightfully deserves. SOAKED is just so beautiful and it gives you chills to listen to it. Adam is respectful of the culture he is in and intelligent enough to know what he should and should not do on stage. Glad to see some vids from there and can't wait for his performances from Australia and NZ.

All hail Adam Lambert World Conqueror! He conquers not with bullets and hate, but glitter and love. For those who will only look and listen, his message is very clear - love each other, respect each other and what happens at every single Glamnation Concert can happen anywhere around the globe. Feel the love. Adam's voice is not just an instrument of pure beauty, but an instrument of peace.

As Adam sang so beautifully, "Is anybody listening?"

Worked with two Muslin women for a number of years. They are loving generous women. One had an alcoholic husband, that she was supporting. She was brillant and a former teacher, but had to work as a bookkeeper in US. She had one son, who was becoming very American and this worried her, even ate hamburgers, which they did not. The other was one of the most beautiful girls I have ever met, very young, good English and smart, and newly married. Her best friend was almost killed several times by her husband, and no one would do anything about it. This girl who worked for me had no choice in who she married. She met him once a year before he married her and brought her to US. Fortunately, she had a son first year, and husband very happy. She, however, was thinking of leaving her husband as soon as she got her citizenship, although from what I saw he treated her very well. She wanted an American husband, and life. Left and don't know what happened in either case. I am sure the stories above are very true. These mothers do nothing because they are powerless.

Wow! 'selfrighteous'=confident of one's own righteousness, esp. when smugly moralistic and intolerant of the opinions and behavior of others... Nope! Au contraire, ma chérie... In my previous post I was talking about OUR ignorance!
Thanks for sending me to study the facts! I think I can count more than 20 years of formal education (without repeating any year :-) ), but, hey, i admit my ignorance in front of you! I do can imagine (also read/learned about) a lot of bad things and I'm living far away from your town/country and also from Afghanistan.
Good for you for looking more into it! I respect you, but, in my opinion, going to your neighbor for confirmation/invalidation of a statement is far from what I call 'research' into a subject. But it's a start! What you have given me as a 'proof' I consider a variation of 'argumentum ad verecundiam'. You have obviously invested your neighbor/soldier with the authority in this matter simply because he worked/fought there and interacted with local people. He might say the truth or he might say an interpretation of the truth. Does it happen? Maybe. But it happens in our countries too. Is it a custom, a cultural thing for centuries? I'm not sure... That was my point! (Btw, let's not believe all OUR TV boxes feed us!)
I'm (sort of) envying you for having all that certitudes. Or maybe not... GLb

PS: I feel special now. I was expecting to be put 'in my place' at some point. :-)
I humbly apologize to all 'it's not that deep'/glitter worshipers here for my posts. You've seen I tried to stay away from posting since I was in quite a critical mood lately. Actually I'm always like that! Of course, I don't want to be the one to spoil the 24/7 'positivity'.
GLb :-)

What made sweet Adam smile at the end of Soaked?
The fact of Malasyan Glamberts had been screaming louder than the Canadian Glamberts? Lol

Sweet Adam, my beautiful Diamond Boy, you made it again! Congratulations! But you know what? They could tie you up, gag your mouth and blindfold your eyes and even so you would keep your brilliance brightening up the whole world... I bet it!

I truly think Soaked would be a single that would rise to the top and stir even the emotions of most folks out there. When he paused during that song the cheers of the crowd made me know that everything is going to be OK. This was indeed a turning point in Adams career; mark my word. I felt love connect all over the globe. Our Adams is indeed a global star beyond even his own imagination.

What???? @glitzylady here.... Just wanted to mention that you are confusing me with someone else...Wow!! I'm in trouble and haven't even said anything..yet..Its one thing to have a say, and another thing to not say anything and still be accused on being on my "friggen high horse.." Have been really busy with "real life" as MGF refers to, but do keep track with what's going on...Just getting ready for the two amazing Hawaii shows coming up and planning my pilgrimage to the LA show in Dec.

Since I'm here, I must add my joy at seeing Adam receiving so much love and positive energy from the huge audience of wonderful fans in Malaysia..He is so deserving of this outpouring of love and I just know it must be making him so happy to be so well received in this country..His message of love and acceptance is one that is understood by fans everywhere...and that is what matters...Not getting into the politics of it...we have our own bigoted groups in the US so not saying anything about the protesters in Malaysia... As others have said, he is a class act and is his own goodwill ambassador...Conquering hate and spreading love one country at a time..

Hi Bing and adamluv - thanks for your kind words. I enjoy your posts very much!!

Here on 24/7 we are like one happy fam damily - showing our love and support for Adam!!

Most importantly, we can share our deep feelings about many things and know that we have friends on this sight who we may have never met in person, but have met in the spirit of joy and love!

Hi Bing - I went back and found your HK press conference post...thank you for directing me back there, nice to hear more about you!

I also love, love, love Astrud Gilberto...Stan Getz...but then, I also love, love, love Massive Attack and Devo. I have a very wide and eclectic range of music I enjoy. But what I enjoy the MOST is true, undeniable talent - aka Adam Lambert. Especially when you heap on a big, drippy scoop of sexiness to go along with it. ;) He just makes me melt...from his talent to his intellect to his sensuality.

@HeartAdam4Ever- i thank Adam for finding a way to share his extraordinary talent to the universe in which the timing was perfect for me. I'm not sure if it was midlife crisis or menopause but that was one of the most difficult stages in my life and without him, i don't know where i'd be right now.I thank him for his fabulous photographs, great interviews and even the controversies. But most of all, i sincerely want to thank Adam for the new friends i have now because of him. What more can i ask for. But wait i need money lots and lots of money so that i can attend as many GNTs as i can! Wish i was married to Bill Gates haha. But seriously Adam is one hell of an ambassador of goodwill. HeartAdam4Ever you really made me cry first thing in the morning!

@Adam Fix- I'm really glad you found it! Oh yes Getz, his sax and Latin Jazz. But right now i've no time for any other artist. Just like many of us in this awesome site, i'm so focused on Adam and Adam alone because following him is more than a full time job whew! You know what, whenever he gives interviews he never fails to fascinate me with his insights. Coming from someone who appears to be a party animal, he seems to be a very sensible young man. He is so INTELLIGENT, SMART and very ARTICULATE.And yes Adam simply oozes with sexiness that he can melt steel.

Wow this thread is just overwhelming for me and i must stop.

Love thru Adam, Bing

@glitzylady

I wouldn't mind having you as my twin sister so we can share our love for Adam 24/7! I guess we will run out of adjectives to best describe Adam. But what's funny is that it is his imperfections that endear him more to me.

And just like many here, i do marvel at the way he handles the uncertainties that come his way with so much grace. This boy was raised very well and for that alone I commend Leila and Ebert. How i wish and pray that there will be more like them who can love their children unconditionally so that more precious lives could be saved.

Yes, Adam is certainly the addiction that i wouldn't want cured.

Can only imagine what Adam on a regular basis has to absorb and shake off. If being gay was easy, there would not be so many young people who feel helpless. Standing on the stage, and getting the love he got from his Malaysian audience after all the BS had to have been very emotional for him. He is learning to keep his feelings less obvious on his face. Although he looked very tense when he stepped into the airport, but lightened up when the fans were yelling for him. After all, he is human, and he is taking a lot of shit that most of us will never face. I am a total Admiration Society.
