Well, there is a reason why the original artists did not release these songs into their own albums. They know they didn't sing it quite the way they intended to, be that short of vocal range, lack of emotion, etc.). That's why they gave the songs to Adam.

Wow...that's all I can say! That version is so pure. The guitar and vocals just compliment each other so perfectly. Can't wait to get my copy. This whole year has been such a wild ride. Re the download..It will come to your email address and then when you click on that and then click download it will automatically go to your default music player...In my case it automatically goes to my iTunes acct. and file...pretty easy!! At least that's how these things have worked before..as with my pre-order last year of FYE with bonus tracks from AO website...Mine is actually waiting for me to download now..guess I'd better go do it so I can check to make sure I actually gave you the correct info!! Off I go...

Yep, that's all there is to it!!! Just downloaded and it is just beautiful!!! They just sent it out a couple of hours ago because they had to re-do something...something about a "skip" in the first try..anyway, sounds perfect now!!

Oh - this version of WWFM totally sends shivers down my spine! I found myself sitting completely still while it played...barely breathing. A voice like this only comes along once in a lifetime!

GIOW/UK - you can have Adam for a month, IF you take Beiber AND Ke$ha. She can keep Adam company for the month he gets to hang out over there ('cause I know he'd love to spend some time exploring London!)and you can keep SuBo, as a bonus...because we're cool like that.

I ordered my CD yesterday with no problem and received an email today saying my instant download was ready! I followed the link and voila! There it was! I pushed the download button and it went automatically to my media player! Yay! And then I LISTENED TO IT....OMG! what an angelic, sweet, beautiful voice sang a gorgeous version of WWFM! I was spellbound, that's all I can say.....just spellbound....

I like a lot of music that is "gay" and this is not it.

I much prefer this angelic slowed down version compared to the faster paced one from the concerts. What a voice...OMG! We just keep saying this over and over as if it is so hard to believe don't we?! It is so rare to hear this kind of talent.

OT: @Anon 7:40am - I just posted about this on the AMA/Ratings thread... I was thinking that ABC could maybe get some monster ratings if they invited AL to be on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. I realize DCNYRE gets great ratings anyway, and they won't do this, for many reasons, a few of which I elaborated more on in the other thread, but there is now a lot of competition among New Year's Eve Broadcast Specials viewership, a lot of other good Specials/Broadcasts being put out by competing channels nowadays!!, where in the recent past there weren't so many, and if these business men really put ratings/advertisers'-money first, they should consider it IMHO. It's not just the old folks that stay home on NYE anymore; I entertained at home last year, and in one room we had the TV on (wouldn't allow DCNYRE 'though :)) and I think it's safe to say that many people go out, sure, but many consumer product buying people stay home too, and Lambert could be a big draw on a live-broadcast-scenario, IMHO.

Well, whatevs, on-topic, I didn't get my free download instantly, but I had it this morning. Good timing, I'm in Thanksgiving prep hell and it will help calm me down :)... let's just hope I don't drop my ipod in a kitchen sink full of water or something, my whole catalogue of Lambert goodies would be lost, lol

Did anybody send FYE to Sister Soldier Project, LLC in CA? I sent three CDs there and got e-mail that there PO Box to small for this package! And now they keep it in the Post Office . I don't have any idea what to do, Tried to send e-mail to Amazon but they didn't reply:(

Yay @funbunn40 finally learning how to cut & paste, you are such a darling! You know i never bothered with computers all my life because i was that spoiled that there was always someone else who'd do it for me. So that makes me another technologically challenged in this site haha and you have company ;-) But because of AFL i had no choice or i'd be left way behind. Little did i imagine that one day i'd see myself in front of the computer whenever i can squeeze it into my terrible schedule for the past two years. But up to now i still don't bother to check my e-mails gosh that's how stubborn i am. I tell you family, friends and relatives were so shocked to see me using one thing that i used to hate before LOL!

And yes, Adam has also completely taken over mine just like so many of us here. My 2nd son is the most supportive of my addiction so that makes him my co-dependent hahaha. I'm really happy that your daughters are now hooked too because sometimes it gets a little lonely out there. 24/7 has been my most beloved sanctuary of late.
