Perfect song for a clothing ad! Yay Adam and Korea!!!! Adamluv

LOVE IT, so great! And for a great product too...nothing better than a great pair of Levis! (well, except for maybe Adam Lambert IN a great pair of Levis :)).

OT but speaking of "using" AL's music - took the kids ice skating today, and the rink played IIHY - woot woot, I was psyched...even pulled off a couple moves on the ice that I haven't tried in years :)!

Um.. this is probably dumb question.. but I just want to know.. does Adam get a compensation when his song is used in a commercial like this? And what about when his song is used in Amazing Race Asia ad?

@venzi - royalties are usually paid to the song owner (composer) and the artists if they use their performance. If Kara & Adam have not sold their rights yet to use the song then they get paid for the use of STRUT in the Korean Levi's TV ad. And since they used Adam's performance then Adam gets paid for that. In the case of Amazing Race-Asia Adam will definitely get royalties for that. Should they decide to use his materials but have them recorded by another singer then the song owners will be the ones to get the royalties but not Adam. Hope this helps venzi :)
