OK, it's been bugging me for a year, so I just have to say it: that last picture (that whole series) of Adam totally bugs me, because he's trying to look so "tough" and it just doesn't work...he's trying to hard. It doesn't show the "real" Adam...it makes him look unaproachable and he's totally NOT!

OK, whew! Got that off my chest, will sleep like a baby tonight. :) Anyway - this is great exposure - loved the review/write up of his Malaysian show!

oops, typo: trying "too" hard (that was for the school teachers who frequent this site - love ya!!!!). :)

PS - hope I spelled unaproachable right! Too lazy right now to look it up. :-P

Adam Fix - Do you think Adam gets to choose what pics are put in Magazines? Haven't you seen these pics from photo shoots before? C'mon get with it!

@Adam Fix, I agree with you 100%. I suspect he thinks a rock star has to be tough and fierce. Even his expressions on WLL on AI didn't seem like who he really is. He said it was fun, but he didn't look like he was having fun to me. I thought he was trying a bit too hard on that too.

His mom says he's a ray of sunshine, and my favorite pics are the ones where who he really is comes through.

@Adam Fix & Sweetie,

We all have our favorite Adam photos and looks, but let's not forget that he is a multi-faceted, theatrical artist. One reason he is so captivating as a performer is his ability to take on different "personnas" according to the message and vibe of the songs he performs. This theatricality carries over to his photo shoots as well. When he poses for photos with fans we see the "ray of sunshine" Adam. When he is in a studio with a professional, artistic photographer we will see a wider array of emotions conveyed in those photos. I don't think it's a matter of "trying too hard" at all. He loves being a chameleon in both image and performance. Let's enjoy our favorites, but never forget that his theatricality is essential to who he is as a person and an artist.

Yes, Adam is an actor. WLL is not a "sunshine song". Imagine how odd it would look if he was happy smiling all through that "every inch of my love". He loves photo shoots where he can act out different emotions and work with professionals.
Happy new year to all of you! Now I´m putting on my glitter dress and start the party. 5 hours left of 2010.

The Malaysian Concert was good, although there were elements of a disaster. Didn't like Ebers tweet. You just cannot say things like that after a concert to 10,000 fans. But I think the most strange concert of GNT was here in Finland. Adam performed to 3,000 (enthusiastic) fans, he was pissed about something I guess, but I think it is weird he doesn't even admit he ever was here. Don't think the fans deserved that.

Anonymous said...

That's the thing we don't know why ADam got pissed about something. We need the facts first before the fans have to react. You need to ask Adam and the management right? What happened? I'm a fan from Toronto, Canada.

Adam looked super pissed off in a picture taken in Germany and he came to Finland from Germany. But he loved Germany, so I guess it was our fault. Oh well, maybe next time when he's in Finland there will be US and International fans in his concert and he gives a good show for THEM.

Although this is all true, I'm laughing my arse off while writing this stuff here.

not sure what was disappointing about the show, but give the guy a break. Maybe it was an off night. He did so many shows and i'm sure you can think of something positive to say.

It's business....and I like the fact that he was able to perform beautifully all over the world and keep the inevitable glitches and snits, out of the press and tabloids. Stop ruminating!! The tour was a triumph and the focus is on what magic is next. I bet he is already heavy into the mental process of writing and production preliminaries ..... a place he loves to be and he will bring us along when he is ready and .... I am breathless with anticipation!!!

@Anon Dec 31, 11:09 AM and 2:02 from FINLAND:

Please POST HERE in plain English once and for all, what is the problem YOU are having re Adam's visit and concert in Finland - THEN, if humanly possible, do something about it AND/OR let it go!!! You are such a DOWNER and BITTERBERT in every thread you post!! It is so pathetic and annoying, jeesh, give it a rest already.

Anonymous said...

anon 4:47, have you ever noticed how the so called Fiercians and MJ bloggers ridicule Adam like all the time, but it's ok because they are americans?

@Anon Dec 31, 11:09 AM

How can you see that Adam is pissed on a picture? What a load of crap. Is it the TCB that haunts you all over again? The finnish audience wouldn´t jump and dance and sing in that way if Adam did a bad show. You are really a bitterbert and I would really want to know if the rest of the finnish fans agree with you.

Eva, it helps when I think that Adam has never the opportunity to perform TCB in Finland. So it's kinda his loss too. :)

Adam Fix - hope you are ok!! You seem like such a tender hearted soul and I know the sweet side of Adam is so appealing. But, I love that picture, partly because when I requested an autographed photo and sent along thoughts and wishes for his success, that was the photo he personalized and sent back and it is my treasure. When you see the full shot, the body language is so like him - he has to be VERY tough with what he has had to go through and all that is to come. It is that fierce defiance that is SO rock and roll, SO inspiring and SO Adam. I can't listen to those last comments he made in that final concert and not feel that here is a resilient, formidable human being that will never again be walked all over and wounded by the ugliness of others - that is TOUGH!! As to approachable(?) - I'm sure it depends very much on the intentions he perceives.

In a few hours, it will be 1/1/11 - Adamazing Lambert will always be number 1-1-11111111 on this site and in the hearts and minds of Glamberts obiting around him. Love you All
Happiest of New Years. Let's count the days together until that new CD is singin'!!

Hey all my sparkly friends - I love Adam from head-to-toe, and know what a good actor he is, even in front of the camera. That particular picture just does not do it for me....it doesn't even look like him. But I still love him to little, tiny pieces! Just had to get it off my chest. It's just MHO, but thanks for listening!

Coloforadam - I always love your posts. :)

Now, off to bash Adam's Finland performance (HA HA - NOT!!). ;) I would take seeing Adam perform live, even if it were his "off" day, over anything, and consider myself lucky!!

Malaysian fans thank you so much for your continuous support for our dearest Adam! HAPPY NEW YEAR TOO ;-)

@Adam Fix i don't have a problem with your first comment. Things like that are very subjective that's why each and everyone of us is unique. We are entitled to our own personal preferences and as the old adage goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so it's okay by me ;-) Wishing you and your family the best of health and a peaceful and prosperous New Year Adam Fix!

Love thru Adam,

My fave pics of Adam are the playful, naughty ones, radiant smiles, seductive sexy ones. Angry tough,I get,depending on song or vibe, but not as attractive to me. Still, no matter what the look, he's magnificent. All just a matter of taste, after all, not negative, just preference. Finnish fan, Sorry you didn't get the encore you felt you deserved, but I watched those videos and Adam gave plenty of energy and passion to his performance. Other fans seemed to love it and had a good time. Adam is a real pro that has given over 113 excellent performances, even when not feeling well, as was stated at only one concert. The audience would never guess, as he gave a perfect performance with the same energy and care. You have repeatedly complained like a petulant child. Don't you think it's time to get over it and be a little grown up.It makes you seem like a spoiled brat that didn't getr your own way. Sorry to be so ugly and I'm not trying to be mean, but you repeatedly complain and expect Adam to pay for nothing he's done. Your point has been taken. Hope you can start out the new year finding something to be happy about. I wish you peace and happiness. There are so many wonderful supportive Finnish fans that were happy that Adam came to your beautiful country and I'm glad that they were able to see this extremely unselfish very nice man. He does his humanly best to please all of his fans. Pkease give him a break. funbunn40

Funbunn40, of course we like that Adam comes to Finland, but many fans are also ready to travel to other countries to see him in concert. Whatever is best for Adam, is ok with us. Germany never fails, that is just a fact and Adam likes it there. I think Hamburg was the best European show and they didn't get any encore.

Wow, all you people who complain about concerts. At least you got to go to one! There are those of us who couldn't. If I had been able to attend even one, I wouldn't care if he just stood there for an hour, much less whined because he didn't sing a certain song! Get over yourselves and thank the universe that you were able to see him at all. I envy you. Peace, love, and an even better 2011 to all.

@3:56 I think Adam is happy and excited to travel to all of the foreign countries and meet the fans. I would guess that he wished he could spend more time in each country to experience the culture, people and history. I don't know what determines the encores, but some venues in the states have strict time constraints and if a show is late in starting for whatever reason, M&G, interviews,publicity, they still have to vacate the theatre by a certain time. They also have to travel to the next country sometimes in bad weather. I'm amazed that he has not cancelled any concerts and hadn't had voice problems with all of the strain over such a long period of time. He did vocal and physical exercises to stay fit to give every concert his best. I have a lot of respect for his work ethic and keeping his good nature throughout a very grueling tour. At the Raleigh, N.C. concert he did one encore song that was short. I was a little disappointed at the time,hoping for two. The crowd gave him so much love that he had to notice, but he also came out and signed many autographes for fans before having to move on to the next venue. He has been more than generous to his fans, more than many other entertainers and I think he equally appreciates us all, no matter what the country. I'm also happy to hear from fans all over the world and their experiences. funbunn40

Oh! don't worry I am very happy...Adam is going to have a new album coming out and I hope a tour with it....He is magnificent....we had the best time at 9 of his concerts....and he was wonderful....My favorite pictures of Adam is all of them...he is so photogenic....
They say he looks like Bill on Tokio Hotel...I certainly hope not to me he looks like a rooster....Adam is always handsome....
Adam has fans of all ages and I hope that Adam realizes that some of us fans are middle age and that one day he will be there and still love music like we do....
Adam has a varity of music and I love that...every show is as if you are seeing a new one.....each night....Love Adam and his music....
