"For this motion graphics video project, I've borrowed the words and sounds from a live acoustic performance of Aftermath by Adam Lambert on October 14, 2010 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I hope it manages to portray a theme of self-acceptance and survival. That night, this song was given an especially soaring and heartfelt rendition, maybe in response to the controversy and non-acceptance surrounding that particular show. Monte Pittman's lyrical guitar-work and the electricity of the stadium-sized crowd add up to make this my favorite performance of the song.
The animation is interspersed with synced concert footage from this and other shows on his recent tour (much thanks to fans who shot them).
Programs used were Motion 3 and Final Cut Pro (grateful wave to Prof Brian Walsh at NYIT for introducing me to these cool tools!) Not connected to this project, but a live acoustic EP by Adam Lambert is out on sale now (it's really good).
Thanks for watching!" - suzanarepublik
Thanks to alreference for the tip!

Another great fan montage... thanks‼ :) Aftermath is such a deep & a very inspirational song. This song is so perfect for Adam to sing cuz he took that leap in so many ways. But not all of us are like Adam, sometimes you're so skeerd that you hesitate to take that leap... js
This will always be Adam's song. The lyrics and beautiful, amazing vocals make you want to cry. I am so proud of Adam for Aftermath. He will never know all the people he has helped improve their lives. The pairing with the brilliant Monte Pittman is perfect as well. Great, great, job all around! Loved this video!

omg total chill bums running up my arms..damn that boy can sing. great video by a fan as well.
Perfect video for a perfect song...and perfect guitarist...and of course, uber-perfect singer!
This song has changed the way I look at alot of things in life. When Adam and his friends wrote this little did he know what an impact it would have indeed!
I always cry when I listen to this song. I cry for Adam. I cry for myself. I cry for all those who long to be accepted and loved for who they are. The world has a long way to go, but with songs like this there is hope in the hearts of many. Thank you Adam.
Thank you susanarepublik for a very lovely video to accompany this truly beautiful song.
I love «Aftermath». It seems it was written for me and it works! Thank you sweet Adam for one more lesson about life. I'm so much older but have learnt so much from you!
This is a beautiful video!!! The written words were very well played on screen, such a good taste: poetry coming from sweet Adam's voice, dancing in the air, landing into our hearts. Hey, it is not winter any more, is it? I feel so warmed...

suzanarepublik,
Thank you so much for this LOVELY video... WONDERFUL job putting it together. I agree this redition of the song is terrific, and yes nancdruuu2, Adam is just perfect.
Fan4fun, i feel a little of that warm flush too!!
Anon @ 5:33... you put a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes... (sniffles)

A beatiful montage of a beatiful boy with golden voice and a very kind soul that is ADAM LAMBERT!!!!!!!!-indigo.
Isn't it cool how creative some of Adam's fans are? This montage was so well thought out and beautiful! Thank you!
AFTERMATH will always have that special place in my heart that's why i'm so happy with this wonderful montage. @Fan4fun, i guess a lot of us can pretty well relate with this relevant song. I've long been smitten with Adam and anything that is of great value to him becomes even more important to me. But that isn't the main reason why i love Aftermath. I know in my heart that it will be a meaningful song to those who are struggling in various ways because the message is about hope and empowerment. And the way Adam's magical voice soars in every improvisation he makes in Aftermath is truly mind blowing. Describing Adam as an entertainer and a human being is becoming so challenging each day because i will really run out of adjectives to do so. Words aren't enough to explain how this man affects me. All i know is that i'm overwhelmed with just the thought of him.
suzanarepublic thank you so much for this great video ;-)

Adam has brought out the creativity of so many fans. I've seen beautiful, clever, heart warming videos, amazing art work, thought provoking, insightful words, extreme kindness and unselfish acts by fans all over the world. Adam has taught us much and opened our eyes and hearts to issues that before we may have given a passing glance, but now of which we are passionately supportive. Suz 526 is another example of unselfish dedication to spread Adam's excitement to millions of fans that may not ever have the experience of seeing him live and fans worldwide that supported her, helping her to achieve that goal. I'm in awe of what passion and love Adam has created and what he has inspired in each of us. So proud to be a glambert and to be touched and inspired by so many of you here. Thankyou all on 24/7 for what you bring to my life. funbunn40
