Good try, but was off key through most of it.
Also very brave to stand up and perform before whole school. congratulations for bravery

Vocal may have been a little off key, but I say A+ for effort! You can tell he worked really hard on the moves, right down to finger movement! LOL!!
Nice job.

He's a true Adam fan! Way to go!

Oh, stop already with the off key comments. The kid did a GREAT job! He's not an accomplished recording artist, he's a young person who clearly is enjoying performing the song. Please. Be nice. He had a lot of the mannerisms down, did the dance moves and clearly is a fan of Adam. GREAT job! Enjoyed it immensely! And no one hired us as professional critics, so let's just celebrate that someone loves Adam and his music enough to want to perform it. geesh.

Good attempt from a cute kid! Loved his hair cut! Needs a little work on his vocals! (from me who can't sing one note on key!) lol!

I agree! He obviously worked hard on it and it was a lot of fun to watch. And a gusty performance to give in a middle school! I hope it was well-received by the other students.

Hey, the kid's got the moves down! Great effort and lots of fun to watch! Love that he loves Adam!

IIHY is not easy to sing, even Adam says so. It was a good effort. And he had the guts to sing an Adam Lambert song (you know he´s gay, right?)Great guy! More of this in schools today!

good Adam body movements and I detect a good voice in there!

Very brave to attempt this! I wonder what part of the country the school is in to be this open in middle school...

Good on him he had a ball, I too see a future performer with the right tuition etc. Well done.

You wonder what part of the country this school is in to be so open. To me that is so weird. I know what you mean, but how can this simple pop song be so controversial that it can´t be performed in every part of the country? Because it´s originally sung by a gay man. That is so crazy I can´t even begin to understand it. But I have seen comments from kids with parents that are really scary, so I know how certain people think. This kid is great and slowly things will change, I hope.

I just wanna give him a BIG hug! Takes a lot of guts to do that! Well done, he obviously put a lot of effort into it. Some great "Adam" moves too!

To Eva at 1:55
I am Anon 1:40 and I teach in a middle school.
This kid would probably have been beaten up on his way home in my area, not because of the song but because of the very gay presentation. Of course this is not right, but that this is how it is in some places, which is why I am glad to see he was brave and comfortable enough to pull it off.
I was wondering what city this was in and maybe I'll transfer there!

singing a Michael Jackson song?????

As a former middle school teacher, this is a very difficult time for all students so an extra big hug to this kid for having the balls to sing an Adam Lambert song and his spot on choreography! Unfortunately @anon 2:20 is telling the truth. Adamluv

Bravo to this cute kid for doing an excellent job. I am Californian and think it would have played well in most schools in this state. Whether this young man is gay or not, he is to be commended for being who he is and having no fear. Just to get up on stage at that age is difficult and this kid was fearless. I worked in middle school for almost ten years, this is a very brave young man.

I think he did great, and in a few years will probably be quite an accomplished performer.

Altho the first part was cut off, I think the girls intro meant it was the guy who "last year" did a M Jackson song. I'm assuming they meant it was good and well-remembered.
Glad he didn't make it too authentic by padding the package lol (sorry, just come from that post..)
I see this fearless kid having a future in theatre

this kid has obviously studdied a few glam-nation performances. really good job!!!!!!!

Need to practice a little more and maybe your voice is still changing, but shows promise. You have a good vibe.

I though he did a pretty good job, better than DWTS version. This is a hard song to sing I'm sure. He had the moves down pretty good, I enjoyed it!

You go on, little glittery alien - get out there and shake your shit around and wail! I am so proud of you for doing this performance!

Wow! I missed a lot! Great job - he really worked on Adam's moves and got the passion down! Anyone trying to do the iconic Adam Lambert has my vote. Adam has so many talents, it would be impossible for a mere mortal to hit all the marks, but this young man should be quite proud of himself. He obviously has good taste.
