HMMM, this is 7:55 and I just read my comment over and it may have sounded snarky but it was meant in the best way possible.

One of the best interviews I've ever heard with Adam. I loved how she kept it real and not so much about all the negativity with bar fights ect.. I think we are all tired of hearing that. I especially enjoyed how he ignores the rediculous comments by "untrue" fans but still is aware that all of us "Glamberts" are 110% behind him, how sweet is he ?

Anonymous said...

oh adam he really should be with a woman. when i look at him and sauli and think where there lips, mouths and privates have been,
its just not right. they are so beautiful. they need to be with the sex that god meant them to be with. making love how it was meant to be made, someday having babies made out of making love with a lover to whom they conceive a child with. oh i pray things can change for them. they are beautiful and deserve to have the life of the god given way.
if adam would be with a woman who's hygiene was to the upmost, not like the woman he had oral sex with who wasnt clean, he would have a whole new perspective of making love. god knows he's tried, he has kissed had oral sex we dont know if he's made love had intercourse with a woman, but he deserves this fans, he really does. those who do not want this for him are not wanting what is best for him.
let him explore and find his way. adam lambert is who he is, he can be with girls, he knows this and someday hopefully he will.
i dont mean to dis respect any gays or bisexual people here. adam is adam and deserves the best of the best.

hello admin I think the comment at 8:42 is bizarre and needs removed and the writer permanently removed from this site.

Anonymous said...

8 46 its not a bizarre comment its a comment from a christian person who has spoken their piece, nothing wrong with this. deep down i wish adam was a straight man too.

Anonymous said...

hey if people can keep talking about the bar fight, then people can have their opinions about adam being a straight man.

Anonymous said...

adam isnt 100 percent gay he makes out with girls for gosh sakes, he has some bisexual in him. he thinks women are beautiful but also loves penis's per his rolling stone interview in 2009.
i love his honesty. who knows what he will do in his future its his doings.

OT: Adam is gaining new twitter followers everyday. slow climb about 1,000 a day it seems.(which is a steady climb everyday Not like justin b though who has 15 million. I guess I'm looking for a surge big-time, maybe with his new album- I'm just impatient that's all. Twitter does matter in the big scheme of things I guess.

Anonymous said...

Some of the comments here are bizarre and disgusting. Those of you who believe that being gay is a choice are ignorant and need to stay off this site and just go back to your Bible.

Adam is a proud gay man. Let him be -

Anonymous said...

@8:42 Don't really know what you were trying to say, but when you are gay -you are gay, I mean you do not have interest in the opposite sex, it's not something you can change with a beautiful clean women as you put it. You are born that way and adam has accepted it, I don't think he will ever give a women a try- That's not who he is and never will be. Can you accept that?

@8:42 I've been on this site and been following adam for almost 3 years now. I was not really educated about gays at all. Adam has opened my eyes totally (I am straight BTW and I feel about 80% of the people here are also. it doesn't matter to me one bit and sadly there are so many hompophic people in this country, educate yourself, this is the 21st century and yes, I believe in god and all that, but I believe in loving ALL good people straight, gay, bisexual or what-ever makes you happy and productive. Close minded people are what is so wrong with this country!

but ok seeing as you brought it up, I will admit to looking at pictures of Adam and Sauli and sometimes wondering where their lips have been....but not in a wish he would go with a woman way, but because they are too hot guys and the thought of them is kind of, well...hot!!! :)

Great interview, great interviewer! Wonderful questions and answers. Adam seemed very relaxed and obviously enjoyed talking about his private life and how happy he is now. I think this is the woman that interviewed him at the Warfield in San Francisco just after one of the GNT tour dates. That was also a great interview. She really likes Adam.

How come somebody started to talk about Christianity after this dirty and disscussing comment?
I think it would be great if admin to remove it from this page

I really loved this interview and of all the ones I heard today (4 or 5) it was possibly my favorite, because it had the feel of a chat between two friends, and Adam was allowed to finish a thought without being interrupted, which often happens in these interviews. I really got the feel of having a genuine conversation. And I, like so many others, could listen to him speak all day long.

It's better I think to accept whatever lot one has been dealt with than to wish and wish for something that may not be within reach at all. Reminds me of a hamster running on a wheel to get something or somewhere but we know it's not getting anything nor anywhere.
Adam has got helluva lot, and he knows and that acceptance of himself is the key to his peace of mind and happiness. If his Mom or he keeps wishing he were not gay, like one such person here, it would have probably totally destroyed him from the inside out and we would not have known this beautiful singer; what a great loss it would have been.

An interview to love. Now why can't all interviews with Adam be as intelligent??

Adam is a singer .. try to keep that in mind when discussing his personal life as though it's any of our business. Who ever runs this blog should exclude the religious talk.. and the lectures on sexuality.. Geez . I will return to this blog when there is more respect for diversity and equality.

Anonymous said...

OMG.. what has happened to this blog.. The comments here make me sick to my stomach.

Who are some of the bigots and would you show your crass bigotry in such a way if you had to give your real names.. Save your comments for the Republican/far right church thumpers. This is a site about a great performer. His personal life is none of your business.

Who is in charge of this site?? Can anybody write anything on here and it's OK?

I mean could the Westboro church people come on here and take over what was once a good site for Adam Lambert fans? Just wondering out loud how we got from an amazing interview to all this sexual/religious stuff.
Basically want to know who oversees Adam Lambert 24/7? Are they on vacation ?

9:05 p.m. - Great comment. Others who preach need to realize that Adam IS who he IS. I'm so tired of reading anti-gay remarks, or those who assume Adam is anything but a Proud Gay Man. He's said he isn't Bi, so what else do they need? Adam is a beautiful person, inside and out. Good put him on earth for a reason, and hopefully he will continue to educate.

Anonymous said...

OOPS. I meant *God put him here for a reason. I've learned so much from Adam, about acceptance, kindness and love. He continues to inspire me.

Anonymous said...

8:50
You're not a Christian. You're a religous troublemaker. Jesus taught spiritualty and love and dispised the religion of the Pharisees and the hardened hearts created by it. Your syrupy facade cannot hide the fact that you are brainwashed and unable to put your shoes on someone elses' feet. Jesus said such a person may be perfectly lawful but the lesser in the kingdom of heaven is lesser than he.

Anonymous said...

Oops, I mean Jesus said the lesser in the kingdom of heaven is GREATER than he (the "lawful", religious, hard-hearted troublemaker).

Great comment about Adam being here for a reason. He has warmed so many hearts. :)

Anonymous said...

Enough of the homophobes. I'm a Christian, my son is gay, and I want him to find the right man and get married in a gay Christian church!!!!!

This interview with Adam makes me so happy I can't explain it. He's in love and IS LOVED. That is so perfect for him.

JB

Anonymous said...

Also, for the religious troublemaker who calls her/himelf a Christian...
Jesus never condemned homosexuality. Paul was condemning idolatry..the religious practices going on at the time in the church, not homosexuality itself. Consider the context. He was also talking about "straight" people who find it unnatural, not homosexuals.
As for Leviticus condemning homosexuality, do YOU follow all the rules in Leviticus, including not eating pork, not cutting the sides of your hair, not trimming the edges of a beard, not eating shellfish? If so, perhaps that is YOUR savior.
Jesus was not like that.

Anonymous said...

yes,,love Adam just the way he is

Anonymous said...

Hey 1:35 keep "Republican speech" out of this blog. I'm a conservative and I love EVERYTHING about Adam.

If Adam was dating a female I'm sure some "fans" wouldn't be happy with whoever it was.

Although we can't help but being interested, you are right..err correct about his personal life being none of our business. Let's get back to his music.

Anonymous said...

First the interview is really fun! Love Adam at all times!

Second, Adam himself has said that he is gay, not bi, not straight. He oughta know.
DRG

Anonymous said...

If there is a mod here, PLEASE REMOVE THE COMMENT AT 8:42. It is disgusting, bigoted, not acceptable in civilized discourse.

To 8:42, your religion does not give you carte blanche to insult people. What Adam does and whom he does it with is his business.

For what it's worth, he has said that he believes in the Kinsey scale, which shows that most people are, to some degree, bi. Some fall in the more "gay" side of the scale, while others fall in the more "straight" side. A "straight" person CAN have a satisfying sexual experience with the same gender, yet remain straight. A gay person CAN do the same with the opposite sex, yet remain gay.

NONE OF THIS IS A CHOICE. Adam has an adorable boy friend. They are intelligent, mature adults, working hard on their relationship. I wish them all the success and happiness in the world.

Anonymous said...

That was a good interview. Adam's so humble and always shares what he learns personally and professionally.

Anonymous said...

8:39 What is an "untrue" fan? People are either fans or not fans.

I loved this interview. Maybe a bit more about the music would be nice but it was great to see Adam at his most relaxed and chatty. Glad he has had a year to enjoy the fruits of his labour. Hope he gets on the road sooner rather than later.

Adam has so much good advice to share. I'm almost ready to start juicing except I don't think my stomach could handle the acid. BUT I'm going to look into it.

Anonymous said...

No, 7:08, I could not have an enjoyable sexual experience with a woman. I am not bi like you seem to be, nor could I live as a sexual partner/ life partner with a woman.
To each his own.

Anonymous said...

Maybe you meant "some" can have a satisfying sexual experience..... with someone who you are not oriented toward.
Adam also once told a beautiful girl during an interview that unless she had a surprise under that dress, it ain't happening.

Anonymous said...

I love Adam, doesnt matter if he is gay, bi or straight.
He was given a God given gift of his beautiful vocals. Thats gift enough for me.
Dont think the comment from 8 42 is all that terrible either. Get it right folks, people have a right to their opinions.
Some people feel the traditonal way of life, being born, man/woman is the path all should walk. Having children by making love, I do think that was the intended way. But its not everyone's way.
I happen to like men and women, If the whole wide world were created with this same like, it would be a more peaceful loving world to live in. Universal Love
Adam is all about the universe and its love !!!

Anonymous said...

Ok, we've all talked this to death many times. Back to the music! Back to buying his CD! Back to the songs! Back to voting on whatever polls we want to vote on. Back to the beauty and talent of Adam!
DRG

Anonymous said...

7:08 I find interest in your Kinsey scale knowledge. Knowing this, if Adam were to want to father his own child, he could possibly have a sexual relationship with one of the opposite sex for conception purposes. Therefore not having to concieve via scientific measures. Beautiful. Seeing him wanting this kind of connection would be fitting for him.

Anonymous said...

7:47am: having children by making love? Well, what about me, who likes to make love but absolutely does not want to have children? And I'm hitting 40 years, so I've made up my mind. I know I am on purpose probably interpreting you a little differently than you meant, but wanted to get this perspective out there.

Anonymous said...

Yrs, let's stop this analysis. Human sexuality is VERY complex. And again, private for every person and not our business.

Anonymous said...

Oh my god... all these homophobic comments and wishes that Adam would be with women rather than Sauli... That made me so sad it hurts. I'll never come to this site again.

OK, um... WHAT, the F is up with 8:42, and where the hell is Admin???

Someone has to be kidding here... 8:42 borders on porn descriptions citing God and that CH word I'm getting sick of reading about... and a loving faithful fan-contributor to this site-'Daydreamin' gets a comment removed?? WHAT the hell alternate universe am I reading here???

I dunno... did 8:42 have just a litttle tooo much enjoyment writing those things?? We get the point without the writer mentioning the "parts". That just seems a bit bizare. Is this a serious person, who really believes this stuff or some jokster-- (ok, troll) If the writer was serious I don't belive one hase to be that detailed to get the point across... so is that for their own thrill?

Kudos to the intelligent, learned, fair minded people here who stated their case well and hopefully others will learn from, or at least be exposed to. AND thanks to those who have a sense of humor that added a well needed chuckle here.

Great, relaxed interview, which is what this thread was about??

@ 11:59 Thanks for the link about The Tresspassing listening party. and responses. Think I'd like to enjoy hearing about Adam,s MUSIC now.

glitzylady said...

Just a thought about the conversation on this thread: Sorry to prolong it re Adam's sexuality, and as some have said, this subject has been discussed many times here, and it will no doubt come up again, as new commenters come and go. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it will not change the fact that Adam is a gay man. By the way, I am straight and married but have an adopted son. Marriage and/or a publicly committed relationship is not just for procreation purposes. It is about expressing love and commitment, and for practical legal purposes.

In my opinion, God doesn't make mistakes. Adam and Sauli are beautiful together. They are gay men. They love each other. Even IF they were bi-sexual, they are physically and emotionally attracted to each other and have a loving, deep and obviously passionate relationship. They are "right" for each other because of this. When someone is born gay or lesbian, they form loving emotional feelings for others of the same sex, because that's how they are "wired". Not something you can just change because someone says you should, or wishes you would. If you recall the quiet shame that Adam spoke of feeling as a young teen as he came to realize he was attracted to boys, not girls "in that way" and felt like a freak, I'm sure he would have preferred at that time of his life to be straight, but no amount of wishing can change how we are wired in the sexuality department. As we know, and he frequently has stated, he is a proud gay man, and comfortable with his sexual orientation. I would imagine he's had PLENTY of opportunities to give being with a woman a "go" (he lives in Hollywood and has for 10 years...lots of beautiful women there..), but he's still gay, because he IS Gay. He stated at one point that he is somewhere between 7-9 on the expanded Kinsey Scale, and so while he finds women to be pretty, and has had fun kissing and perhaps more, does not mean he is even bi-sexual. He has firmly stated time and time again he is definitely GAY. Period. Whatever his sexual experience is with women or men is his business. He's with Sauli now, which is all that matters. No sense wishing for something that is pretty much not going to happen.. Because as Adam said once in an interview in England to a woman who wondered if she would have a chance with him.."Unless you're hiding something under that skirt...it isn't happening!!" Can't be much clearer than that. By the way, I have ties to a Christian church that is open and welcoming to GLBTQ folks and does not believe that anyone needs to be anything other than who they are, including the clergy. All are considered to be God's children. Jesus did not say anything about Homosexuality in the Gospels. And Christianity is theoretically modeled on his teachings as presented in the New Testament Gospels of the Bible. The governor of my state, WA, a practicing Catholic, recently introduced a bill to our legislature to affirm (legalize) Marriage Equality for all loving couples, regardless of sexual orientation, because she said she has come to realize that, in the case of marriage, or just about the feelings that two people have for one another, it is about two human beings who are in love, not about laws or religious beliefs, in the case of legalization of Gay marriage in the State of WA (very close to passage..). This was a big step for her as a Catholic. Wishing for Adam to become straight or bisexual is a lost cause. He is a beautiful human being and that is all that is important to me. I celebrate his life and his love for Sauli. And look forward to his new music.

It's interesting that people who talk about religious beliefs of any kind or denominations, they are so hung up on sexual interaction of humans with one another.

In my country, governmental religious authorities are so hung up 24/7 on how women should cover their hair because it causes sexual arousal in men. So it's a sin for women to show their hair. Through out human history always God and sex went hand in hand. Forget about other important issues facing humanity.

glitzylady said...

@Anon 10:59 AM
I agree, its too bad we as human beings can't focus as a group on the things that actually matter to humanity, such as global warming, feeding the hungry, helping to provide clean water for all (Yay Adam with Charity Water!), health care for all, curing cancer, etc.., instead of worrying about others' sex lives, and their choice of partner in a committed and loving relationship. Perhaps someday.....

****Even tho this thread got bushwhacked, again, as it often does : ) , sometimes some discussion of a difficult and/or controversial subject is "transformative" for some, the word that Adam used recently to describe his own life in the last three years. "Meeting" and "following" Adam's life and career have been "transformative" for some people who had not really understood or looked at the life of a gay man before...and have come to believe differently than they may have before Adam came along with his example of being proud of who he is. I think RESPECT is the important concept to remember here, both for Adam and for each other.

Anonymous said...

Dear God and I mean that devoutly, where do these crazy people come from? You must weep tears at the corruption that organized religion has created. And you must shudder at your name being used to spread such idiocy.

@ 8:42 you poor pitiful creature.
Let me get this straight, you don't disrespect gays and have no problem with the activities of homely homosexuals, but since Adam is beautiful and special HE should refrain from such activity? You do realize there are some pretty gross, clean women in the world, would one of them be better than Sauli, just because she's female?

It amazes me that a fine self professed "godly person" like yourself looks at Adam and Sauli and the thought of where their lips, mouth and genitals have been pops into your head! I'd hate to see the inside of that head!

This may shock you but the lips, mouths and genitals of your straight grocer, doctor, telephone lineman, manucurist, minister, Mom and Dad have probably been in the same places. Straight people don't all practice the missionary position with their eyes closed.
Except for the Duggard family! And they practice a hell of a lot!

You seem to have made quite a study of Adam's experimentations.

You do know he sings too, right?

I don't think Adam has the time or the interest to read "stuff" about himself on the internet. There is enough "garbage" in the print media or on the entertainment "news" shows. That's why it is interesting to listen to his interviews esp on Ellen or on some of these radio shows. He tells you the truth practically about everything and has let us know more about himself than we should be entitled to know. He is sincere, self-confident, witty and articulate. That's the reason I love to listen to him. So let's focus on the music now, give Adam our total support and help his new album become the top charting album of 2012. Wouldn't that be a great gift to him? He so deserves it.

It is so unfortunate and disturbing that Adam still has to contend with the disgusting, offensive and ugly comments about being gay. He owns who he is and is proud of it, not hiding behind some false image of what society wants. I just think of all the individuals in time whether present or past who are/were gay in the fields of art, music, literature, dance, theater, film, design, etc. Without their creative talents and contributions, we would be a dull, unproductive, less creative and uninteresting society in all these areas. Adam is the best vocal talent in the music business today and if people would open their ears and just listen to him, they would understand why he has so many devoted fans. It's almost like the tv show THE VOICE where a person is selected by one of the celeb mentors strictly on his/her talent without seeing or judging on any other level. I hope that Adam's new album TRESPASSING proves what a superbly talented singer he is.

Hundreds of species on earth practise homosexuality, only one practises Homophobia....

They do? What other species? I don't ask from a judgemental stand point but from curiosity. I have never heard that. I think you are right about the homophobes. I can't imagine any other species being as ignorant and intolerant as humans.

about 1500 known different species

Hi 6:57/8, this is getting rather interesting...yea I'll look it up further. 1500 species of homosexual animals...a lot! So God is pretty open-minded too! LOL. :)

If I'm inclined to ponder about body parts touching or caressing each other in any way whatsoever and whether they be male or female-it all seems quite beautiful to me. Far better than any body parts attacking others in anger, violence or hate.....Call me simple-minded,but LOVE is LOVE-and I'm happy Adam and Sauli have each other to love.

not exactly mine........got it off facebook!!! but I do agree with it.

It's okay, you have great sense of choice, probably experience, honed from raising five wonderful children. Now since you brought up facebook, I actually have an account but I have not used it; because after I make a comment, I have no idea where it is, most likely on my facebook profile page and then unlike here which I like, all our comments straight away appear, no need to go clicking everywhere. Do you have this problem with facebook? But they are quite nice, always sending me emails inviting me to write there. Could it be because mine is a facebook login. Remember I think I have seen you a few times at Examiner and then it amalgamated with facebook. Maybe the facebook login is not the actual facebook where the comments can be printed out immediately at the same place rather than sending them to don't know where. Care to enlighten me on this... :)

I did used to comment on Examiner articles, but I haven't since they switched to using facebook. My facebook page is my personal one, with my own name and profile picture, didn't really want that splashed about on International articles, wasn't sure how easy it would be for people to see my page from that....although maybe it would be quite interesting to be 'friends' with some people off here! But then maybe not, you'd all get to see what I look like...somethings are best left to the imagination, perhaps you all picture me as a tall, leggy blonde???

Re your comments on FB, if you are writing something to a friend then your message appears on their 'wall' and on your profile page, if its a private message, you can read what you've written just by pressing your message link.

Not sure if facebook login is different, I just thought it was literal, i.e you had to login to FB to comment.

When I picked up our Egg McMuffins this morning, I started laughing wondering where the lips that told me the amt. I owed had been last night. I'm sure I'm going to giggle in church. I feel very light hearted and grateful God created us to be sexual beings.

A Presbyterian with a sense of humour a/k/a anon. Happy Sunday JAK! Gotta go, church is 4 houses away!

@glitzylady as always you put a lot of thought into your comments and for the most they are always respectful of others comments. You have a wonderful way of wording things.
As far as sexuality goes, not even science has figured out the reasoning behind preferences of being with man/woman. Stats are all a windstorm of individual beliefs. The easiest fact is saying you were born this way.
Really No One Knows, this has been studied since the beginning of time.
Seriously, everyone is born A way.
Every human is born and derserves the same good life as the next.
As far as Adam goes, all you posters talking about wishing he was straight,
You Have to give him credit, it isnt for LACK of trying on his part.
The interview he did with those 2 gay DJ's from SanFran 99.7.Friday.
saying they hear all the time of women wanting to convert him.

They caught him off guard, he didnt know if he wanted to reply or not and he did. Honest as usual. He's been with a woman and it was "nice and fun". How can anyone not Love this man?
He says he is gay, yet on more than one ocassion has delved into the ladies. He tries.
The gay community will probably want to hang him for that comment. How dare he speak of going or being with the other side? Get over it those who feel betrayed by him. Knowing a few gay men personally who think he shouldnt have commented.
Adam is who he is and proud, no matter what actions he takes.
Here is the interview in case anyone missed it. Its good except for those 2 men poking fun at Adam for his honesty.

Yay, JAK! Thanks for speaking the obvious. I can't think of one sexual practice that gays do that many straights don't also do. It's common sense. Both orientations have sex with love sometimes, and without love sometimes. Depends on the situation. Straights don't have a monopoly on sex that is "pure" or "right." Religion has absolutely nothing to do with it. People of all orientations who are lucky enough to express themselves with LOVE and SEX are lucky indeed. We should be grateful and happy for all people who can find both these things in their lives. Adam certainly does generate incredible discussions! Lots of people have learned a lot since Season 8! All to the good. Love you, Adam. You're making us richer human beings just by being who are are. You probably don't think of yourself as a teacher, but you are.

@ DRG

I responded to your comment, but all by themselves, my fingers in cahoots with my wordy brain got on a roll and delivered a long long sermon, so mercifully I killed it.

Basically it shortened to...we should all mind our business and accept responsibility for our own lives.

I replied to you yesterday...not sure where it went!
I did used to post on the comments section at Examiner articles but stopped when they switched ti using facrbook (as did most people it seems). my FB page uses my real name and photo wasn't sure I wanted that to be shown all over on line articles. wasn't sure how private my FB page would stay that way.

FB is pretty easy, if you send a message to someone it posts on your profile page and their wall, or you can send a private message that only you and your friend see.

Don't know if FB login is different, I just thought it meant you had to log in via facebook.

It would be quite fun to be 'friends' with some people of here..........but then again that would mean seeing my picture, and I probably wouldn't live up to your expectations, maybe you all imagine me as a tall, leggy blonde???? i'd hate to burst your bubble.
