According to ClearChannel's WTAM 1100 News Radio...

1. Pink and Adam Lambert, "Whataya Want From Me"

Adam made this song famous when he released it as the first single off his debut album For Your Entertainment, but didya know Pink actually wrote it? She recently released her version of the song -- so, whose is better? In our opinion, the mash-up of the two outranks the separate versions. Check it out below.

Pink sang this on her tour....not good...then when she put it on CD, she did Adam's version.....Adam blows it out of the water..remember when he sang it on American Idol on mentor week

I don't think Pink should have release it...but this is a OLD argument....

I like them singing together as duet, it is amazing. However, Pink didn't have anything special or different when she perfomes the song. It just sounds like if Adam would slightly change his voice, what he can do anyway. Also, the question is, why did Pink release WWFM as single and even didn't change Adam version of the song? Didn't she have any other songs to release one of them as single? Don't get this part. Also, some people when they will hear this song on the radio, they will think that Adam got cold or start to lose his voice! By the way, Adam sounds superb as usual.

Did Pink release WWFM as single? Wasn´t it on the australian LP? Why would they play it on the radio then?

I like Adam singing it alone best. But, I would love to hear them do a duet someday like this mashup. It does sound really good.

This sounded very good for a change. I'm so over the acoustic WWFM Adam sang over a 100 times.

I will never be over Adam's WWFM. He sings it differently all the time. I LOVE the version on his acoustic cd now. It is so beautiful.

Pink is an okay singer as far as the pop stars out there. She had to sing Adam's version because his is the HIT version. Pink is good enough while Adam is a supremely gifted singer who is unequaled in the glorious tonal quality of
his voice and the passion he emotes with each performance. Adam is simply mesmerizing...(sigh!)

Adam had a hit single but he didn't perform the original version. Good he did it twice at the JB. I know this is a problem for some, but hits should be performed mostly in their original version.

Actually 4:30, Adam did perform the original version that was released to the public. From Adam's own words--Pink had recorded it but decided it didn't work for the album for whatever reason. Because they're signed with the same company, it was available to Adam. He liked it, and the rest is history.

Sorry, but I do not understand that hits should be performed in their original version?? What does that mean. Everything today is done and redone, remixed, re-everything. Adam's songs never sound the same.

I do dislike Pink trying to cash in on this song. Yes, I totally know she wrote it, but she allowed Adam to use it just like Muse and Matthew Bellamy allowed Adam to use Soaked. Seeing that the song is huge, she now wants a piece of the action. She'll get royalties like crazy without adding it to her performances and CDs, and goodness knows, she's churned out one hit after the other. I think it's self-centered and selfish for her to do this. My opinion.

Anon 5:38, do you think Adam should write and produce his own music? He could do what he want.

Anon 5:56.. I once heard Adam say in an interview that he prefers to be a teamplayer when it comes to writing.. so I think he will stick to co-writing like he did on his FYE-album.

I would love to hear Adam and Pink singing a duet on the grammys

The more awards Adam wins, the better. Think the Mash up just fine. Also read he won a Greggy? Think that's right. His name and music is out there, where it should be and that is what matters.

5:56. Not relevant to discussion. This is about WWFM. I don't see gaga trying to reclaim fever!

Anon at 5:28....I'm with you completely on this.

Thanks 8:01 for bringing us back to what really is important.

how about you all stick to the "listening" and let the pros do their jobs? Geez....you guys are so depressing *SNORE*

I think I would prefer to hear Adam sing with PINK instead of Christina but that seems to be his dream.
Adam and Pink's voices seem more suited and interesting although i'm open.
They SHOULD perform this at the Grammys or somewhere. Two great artists although Pink is pretty far along in her pregnancy. Bless her!
AND go Adam on winning the Grammy! You are THE winner in our minds you genius you!!!!! and Mega Babe one in a million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anon 8:58 I agree with you. this blog is getting really boring.
let's just bring on more adam and less insipid comments.
MORE AAAADDDDAAAMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!YUM YUM!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry you are so bored 8:58. Your comment was not exactly a shot of caffine. I really think Adam should work with Kelly Clarkson. Just think about it. She has a tremendous range and is very powerful, but don't worry, it won't happen. Afraid xtina would drown Adam out sorry to say.

Being 1st in the TOP 5 MASH-UP OF 2010 is a positive thing for me so it's all good no matter what the circumstances may be. At this point in Adam's career i would put more weight on his visibility because that is what he needs. It is really more important to get more and more people interested in him and i believe this mash-up is an effective way too. Besides this is another free publicity for him and being associated with more established artists has its benefits too. People always tend to compare artists and they would surely be surprised with what Adam has to offer. There are still a lot who aren't familiar with Adam and this exposure will surely be helpful JMHO.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE ;-)

P!nk's Greatest Hits .... So Far album has been released in Australia and is currently the #1 album on the ARIA charts (the official Australian Recording Industry Association charts). WWFM is available as a download off the album but hasn't been released as a physical single.

I agree with a previous comment that there are still a lot of people not familiar with Adam Lambert and his music. If they did not know about the Glam Nation tour here and internationally or check the internet sites for information on him, you would think he had disappeared. It took a while to hear WWFM on the radio in the NYC area and I very seldom heard IIHY. He did some initial tv appearances to plug the new cd, and once he went on tour that was it. I would love to see him perform on the Grammy show and, of course, win the award. He also needs to make some tv appearances again(Ellen, Oprah, Leno) to keep his name and music out there. Those of us who follow this site know exactly where Adam is and what he has done, but since he has so much to offer as a performer both visually and musically, he needs to be out there keeping his name and music in the public eye.
