from previous shows, and we all know he came in second. Some people might have forgotten that he didn't actually win, because he has done so much since then, and is now a super star.

This was great to see. There are so many talents that started with AI and Adam is high on the list. I think he was included to show the audience that the judges really do find talent even if votes don't reflect that. I just set my dvr.

I was SO happy to see this post! Thank you. I just watched the opening, and it made me want to watch the whole show because they honored Adam this way. Go AI! What a brilliant move for a brilliant man. I am so thrilled for him. They know...that he is the MOST talented AI contestant they have had or will ever have.

Most likely it's due to his Grammy nom. Daughtry and Jen Hudson were also included.

OMG OMG OMG..AS IT SHOULD BE..The show really respects and LOVES Adam and is giving him his right on this show..acknowleging the fact that ADAM F.LAMBERT was THE best contestant that they ever had and will be the biggest worldwide superstar to come from AI..Letting him be the first Mentor of contestants and the voacal coaches said.."what does on do after Adam Lambert, set themselves on fire"?? "You can't compete"

Oh well, that's where he deserves to be with the past winners, even though most of them don't have half of the talent he has.

Thank you AI for including Adam amongst the winners! Justice has been served, finally!!! I'm getting tears in my eyes over this! I never quite recovered from the voting fiasco on the finale Season 8! AI is trying to make it right! I hope this means that Adam's picture will be shown every AI show as part of the intro then! Great exposure for Adam! Obviously, AI knows Adam's name and/or picture always draws viewers and fans! Congratulations, Adam! You so deserve the recognition!!!

I was thrilled when I saw Adam included in the opening moments. Adam has always promoted Idol in a very positive way and I hope they will ask him to appear in some capacity. I'm was so happy to see that recognition and hope to see it every week. I thought the judges did a great job. I liked J LO and Steven Tyler and have always liked Randy. Have to admit having several nostalgic Adam flashbacks. funbunn40

OMG this is just sooooo great! I don't have plans of watching it either but i would love to get a glimpse of the opening-credit. I guess that resistance is futile for AI as well and including Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry is also a respectable move. AI should be honored that they were graced by such incredible talents. I have to thank them for doing the right thing this time. Now hubby is downloading it but that will take another 3 hours.

I am Happy AI acknowledged Adam. I never watched AI before Adam was on and after AI-8,the show just isn't that entertaining imo. I won't be watching AI-10, it doesn't appeal to me, but IF they invite Adam on, I'll be glued to that episode.

About Freakin time...it can't be always about the winners as sometimes we cannot even remember who they are. It should be about the stars created on AI and showing them the proper respect.

I would watch it only for the S. Tyler comments. After Adam I am not interested in the contestants and will be doing some serious DVR fast forwarding.

I think it's disrespectful to Kris Allen to have Adam shown as a winner. And I like Adam's music. Still wrong.

No Daughtry though(surprised). I noticed this too. They did that because Adam & Jennifer are two of their success stories where as 90% of there winners are not. Smart on their part very smart. They should ONLY show ADAM, Kelly, Carrie, Jennifer & Daughtry.

My Bad...Daughtry is there...hard to catch and very brief not as blatant as Adams pic but there nonetheless. Good for all 3 of them!

I have a problem with them including non-winners in the opening. No disrespect to those included, but they didn't win... it's just not right. Why have a winner then?
