The price of fame. I couldn't bring myself to even watch the whole video because I felt so sorry for Adam -- he looked so unhappy with the invasion of his privacy. It's got to be awful to live in a fishbowl like that.

I agree. Adam is now famous BECAUSE of fans. And fans know about him BECAUSE of his singing but also BECAUSE he appears on magazine covers, gives television interviews, etc. People WANT to see him. What's a smile before entering a club (takes one second!!)? It makes the fans and paps happy.

Adam always towers over everyone else! Such a tall, handsome man! I don't think he is trying to get attention by going to hot spots! He was attending a party by invitation and had his good friends with him. He's on his private time..he is not obligated to stop and talk or smile every moment! Remember all the endless smiles and greetings through all the GNTs M&G's? No matter how many fans wanted a hug, comment, autograph, he always patiently obliged. He's a real sweetheart and would never intentionally snub anyone.

I think what paps were doing, they were telling him shits to provoke him so they can take their shots and sell it to media. Remember Florida incident!? His sad face was probably a result of paps saying nasty things to him.

Celebrities walk a line between their "privacy" and "being seen." Most of them know that they HAVE to be seen to stay in the show biz limelight. That's why they go out to hot spots. Like any hot celeb, Adam needs to be seen, and he knows it. The stars and the paps all play the peek-a-boo game on purpose. Adam is not out on the town to preserve his "privacy." He's out there to be seen, and if that requires some coy hiding behind hands, etc., well, that's just what celebs do. Part of the game. I LOVE ADAM and always will. True fans know who he is, and we accept what he does. He'll hang out where he pleases and with whom he pleases, and he'll get some valuable publicity in the bargain.

Smile for the paps! I think the paps deserve a smile from them celebs they spend time stalking. I think the nicer you are the better. The paps don't stalk the nice celebs as much. that is my theory!

Sean Penn would punch paparazzi out and that is why you don't hear much about him. Tommy Lee would throw them on the ground and they liked him after that and were nice. No one wins!

Some of you are so ridicuolus! It's ok to be his fan, believe me, I'm one of his most dedicated fans as well. But! Some of you can't take a single half-negative comment about him. You can defend him, as all of us want to, but some excuses for his behaviour are so forced. Lately, he doesn't seem to be his old self and that's very striking to everyone who is willing to see.
His life is AMAZING, he's living his dream unless there's something wrong with his or his loved one's health (God forbid!), don't tell me he has a reason to be upset.

ok, i'll put my 2 cents in too. First of all, Adam has been drinking, he does like his vodka & tequila, his body movements are slow, if there is any diva attitude, alcohol brings out all those inner feelings, whether happy or pissed off.
second, with the hippy look, coolness of his strut,Adam reminded me of Jim Morrison,OMG I love JM! But I love AML more!!!
third, Adam is the product, we are the consumer. BUT!!!!!!!!!! AML does not need to satisfy anyone with what he does, says, look, hears, etc., AML is the man with the voice!!! Party on dude!! Party on!!!!
Last, I did feel sad for our BB, he is fragile to the celebrity lifestyle, BUT please ADAM!!! don't fall...stay true to yourself!! because if you don't, hollywood's nights of lights & glamour will swallow you up & you will be forever lost!!!! Ok, I was having fun with my new ..Bert friend several threads back when I saw these videos. At first they made me sad, but looking at this thread from JFC’s perspective I’ve found the fun in it (again)! Do you see this, JFC? Isn’t it amusing when chickenBerts dislike ‘the food’ and peck at each other?! It is fun to follow Mr. Lambert, but it’s 10 times better to follow the glamBerts.
The (schizo) ME gives some credit to everyone here, even to the diva/hotspot ‘supporters’.. And I cry, of course, with my ladies for our boy’s (lost) privacy. But let’s face it! That place was crawling with media and (it seems) nobody followed their van or anything. Maybe the paps had no press credentials and they could filmed only at the entrance. ‘We got you’ is just a stupid statement. They did nothing to ‘get him’. There was nothing like that horrible stalking episode in the parking building from AI days, thank God.

Adam had over 100 concerts and meet and greets, plus coming out to the buses with his fans sometimes. He has seen and interacted with his fanbase many times a week for six months straight. This is his downtime with his friends. Tommy, Terrance and Taylor were in the door already waiting. Hope he had a great night. He is setting boundaries in order to enjoy his "private" life. He's intelligent and deserves this time without judgment.

mmm, wasn't sure about watching this after watching all the negative posts, but I did and.....didn't see any diva-ish attitude. Admittedly it wasn't the most elegant exit from a car, couldn't see any 'fans' waiting for a smile, it all seemed to be paparazzi. I couldn't hear anything that was said, but we don't know if anyhting happened before they got out the car, none of them looked happy, and his friend turned round and told them to fuck off or something just as they got in the door, so I reckon something was said.
But I will agree with those that have said he looks sad lately, the photos the last couple of weeks definitely don't seem to have that sparkle. But he looked great in that short MTV video interview taken the same night.

Chill the foo foo out. Come on, Adam's not the only one in this situation. Many celebs have probably gone through this is just that there are some overly dramatic fans who will want to protect Adam like a mother wolf. Breathe, ladies. Adam is probably upset (who wouldn't be?) but I'm sure he can handle it--he kind of has to; this is only the beginning for him. Don't try to read Adam's mind or throw a pity party for him. Wow, lots of analytical people here. Looks to me like he just went to a club, got out of the car, passed some people (nobody was storming him for autographs or anything), and went in. He may have said a few words to people along the way, who knows. But I guess it's fun to tear every little movement apart.

What????!!!!! I read all of the comments before I watched the video and expected some sort of dramatic weird "diva-ish" behavior from Adam, based on what I was reading...and so....nothing... He got out of the car and walked into the club with his friends...that's pretty much it. There are always paparazzi hanging around these clubs in Hollywood. I'm sure he runs into that all the time and he can choose to stop, smile and pose or not..This event wasn't really about him anyway..he was just an invited guest. Not only that, he probably deals with this all the time, and we just happened to see this posted here and elsewhere.. He posed for many, many pictures inside at the official event, gave interviews...so it would seem to me this is nothing unusual at all..(I was coincidentally at Bardot a few weeks ago...the paps were hanging around there then too..you just walk by..not that they had any interest in me! LOL!!)
