Check out this great review on Adam Lambert's Glam Nation Tour from the Official American Idol blog:
Each week of Season 8, I would watch Adam Lambert perform and say to myself (or anyone who would listen), "I can't wait to see this guy in concert." On June 4, 2010, Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert embarked on his Glam Nation Tour along with Allison Iraheta (for the first portion of the tour). I waited patiently for the tour to roll into my town. As I composed the Weekly Scoop blog every Monday, I'd see that Adam was on the east coast, in Canada, and overseas in the UK and Asia. Finally, on the last night of the Glam Nation Tour--December 16, 2010--I got to see Adam in action at Club Nokia in his hometown of Los Angeles, CA.
As I walked up to the Club Nokia, it was amazing to think that just a year and a half ago Adam was walking the red carpet into the Season 8 finale next door at LA Live's Nokia Theatre. When I entered the venue, it was amazing to see what a diverse crowd an Adam Lambert show brings. There were the hard-core fans with their Adam tattoos; there were audience members decked out in glitter, boas, leather, and feathers. I saw teens, I saw grannies, I saw American Idol fans and the press.
When Adam took the stage, he was definitely here for our entertainment. As he proved on Season 8 and the Idols LIVE 2009 Tour, Adam is a born performer. The show had glitter, lazers, lights, smoke, pyrotechnics, and amazing dancers and band members. Adam had about 5 costume changes!

Are you sure there are press people? Did not hear anything about his successful GNC on TV.
@11:02, Me neither!!! Very depressing! But this article, at least, is so positive and right on. What I experienced was also the diverseness of the audience at THIS show. At the Music Box, however, I saw a different crowd - many more women and mostly hard core Adam fans. At least this was my observation after sitting on the sidewalk for 9 hours in front of the theater!Very happy to see his fanbase diversify at Nokia!
Yup, this about sums up GN show... FUN & ENTERTAINING‼ :) To elaborate more, so entertaining visually & of course vocally, all kinds emotions: happiness, joy, excitement, makes you cry too, very sensual and makes you wanna dance & scream to the top of your lungs. If you haven't seen Adam perform live... you've missed out on something MAGICAL & WONDERFUL‼ :)
Not living in US, I must ask, Has there been anything about other tours on TV? Kris Allens? Gagas?
Eva
To Eva--not that I have seen. Occasionally, Gaga will hit the news, but for something out of the box, not her concert. The Bieber kid gets enough press for all the artists combined. Not sure why, but his sponsors are getting rich, so figure that must figure into this gold mine they have going.
